Tensions are running high, but teamwork makes the dream work! Xie Wanghe swallows his pride and apologizes to Zhou Haikuo. He's got a hunch there's a mole in the company, feeding intel to their rival, Yuntu. He figures that Yuntu's shockingly fast counter-attacks can only be explained by inside information. Xie Wanghe, Zhou Haikuo and Shao Xingchi rally, and they all agree that sticking together is their best bet to overcome the challenges. The next morning, the trio arrives at the company, brimming with renewed determination. They're checking the company's performance metrics when they discover a delivery driver who completed a staggering 500 orders in a single month. It turns out to be He Tianming, a protégé of Xia Fenghua.
Xie Wanghe, deeply impressed by He Tianming (since he was personally trained by Xia Fenghua), takes the opportunity to ask about Xia Fenghua, learning that she's been suffering from lower back pain. Soon after, Xia Fenghua receives a package full of medicinal plasters. She initially assumes they're from her mom, Li Yan, but a quick phone call reveals that's not the case.
Meanwhile, Li Yan is gossiping at the shop with Liu Yuling about Zhou Yipu's increasing forgetfulness. This news quickly reaches Zhou Yanlin's ears. Liu Yuling suggests that Zhou Yanlin take his grandfather to the hospital for a check-up, emphasizing the importance of being prepared. Zhou Yanlin agrees and convinces Zhou Yipu to go, but only if Zhou Yanlin accompanies him.
Love is in the air...and so is competition! Shao Xingchi, while shopping at the supermarket, spots a poster for a Li Yuchun concert. Remembering Xia Fenghua's dream of attending a concert, he pulls an all-nighter and spends a small fortune to snag two tickets. However, Xie Wanghe beats him to the punch, delivering tickets directly to Xia Fenghua at the delivery station. She's absolutely thrilled.
Shao Xingchi arrives at the station, only to find that Xia Fenghua has already left, leaving him heartbroken. Xie Wanghe takes Xia Fenghua to the concert, and she's ecstatic, singing along to familiar songs. A charged moment passes between them as they lock eyes, and Xie Wanghe finds himself reminiscing about their shared past, his heart skipping a beat.
After the concert, Xia Fenghua and Xie Wanghe take photos together and enjoy a meal of spicy crayfish. Xia Fenghua playfully asks if Xie Wanghe sees her as a friend or something more. Xie Wanghe dodges the question, calling her a "kid," but then tenderly wipes her mouth with a napkin. Shao Xingchi happens to be eating nearby and witnesses the intimate scene, leaving him crushed and walking away dejectedly.
On the drive home, Xia Fenghua wonders aloud what might have been if Ma Siyi hadn't left and had also made it to Beijing. Xie Wanghe dismisses the hypothetical, suggesting they focus on the future, like buying a house and getting married once their company, Mifeng, goes public. He subtly hints that his ideal type closely resembles Xia Fenghua, creating a palpable romantic tension in the car.
After dropping Xia Fenghua off, Xie Wanghe admits to buying the medicinal plasters. Back at home, he finds Shao Xingchi completely drunk and passed out at the door. Helping Shao Xingchi inside, Xie Wanghe notices two concert tickets on the floor, instantly understanding Shao Xingchi's feelings for Xia Fenghua.
Shao Xingchi confesses his long-held feelings for Xia Fenghua and his desire to pursue her. However, the night's events have made it clear that Xia Fenghua only has eyes for Xie Wanghe. He begs Xie Wanghe not to hurt her. Xie Wanghe, stung by the plea, points out that Shao Xingchi isn't yet capable of providing Xia Fenghua with a good life, a remark that deeply resonates with Shao Xingchi.
Later that night, a shaky Shao Xingchi stumbles to Xia Fenghua's building, watching her dance joyfully by the window. He realizes he can't compete and walks away, defeated. Meanwhile, Xie Wanghe is at the company, analyzing Yuntu's issues with Meng Wei. Zhou Haikuo suddenly calls with big news: the Grand Canal has officially been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. The neighborhood erupts in celebration, gathering in the courtyard to envision a prosperous future for Flower Street. Shao Bingyi is quick to offer an opinion regarding the local shipwreck, with Chen Bo adding a few points, but ultimately acknowledging Shao Bingyi as the main contributor to the celebratory discovery.
