Cheng Yi as Xiao Qiushui
Xiao Qiushui is the third son of Xiao Xilou, the leader of the Huanhua Sword Sect. He's also the leader of the "Shenzhou Alliance". He starts as a young, somewhat impulsive swordsman, but his life takes a dramatic turn when his family and sect are massacred by the Power Gang and Zhu Da Tianwang. Driven by revenge and a sense of duty to his country, Xiao Qiushui embarks on a path of growth and mastery.
He undergoes significant character development. His internal strength is greatly boosted after consuming the "Wuji Elixir," left behind by Yan Kuangtu. He is also trained and taught by eight grandmasters of different sects including Shaolin and Wudang. He later learns from the "Three Talented Swordsmen" and masters the "Heavenly Book of Forgetting Love". He eventually becomes a grandmaster, developing his own powerful sword technique called "Startling Sword."
Xiao Qiushui is more than just a martial artist; he embodies righteousness, loyalty, and the spirit of defending his homeland. He transforms from an initially low-skilled, impulsive young swordsman to a great hero.

Tang Fang is the romantic interest of Xiao Qiushui (played by Cheng Yi). Their relationship is a central element of the story, and it undergoes numerous trials and tribulations before they ultimately unite. She is not to be confused with Xiao Xueyu, who is Xiao Qiushui's sister.
