Plot Synopsis
"The Best Thing" (Original title: 爱你) is a 2025 Chinese drama based on the novel "Loving You is the Best Thing I Have Done" by Sheng Li. It's a heartwarming and healing story that blends traditional Chinese medicine with a moderomance.
The series follows Shen Xifan (played by Xu Ruohan), a workaholic hotel manager suffering from severe insomnia due to her high-stress job. She seeks treatment at a traditional Chinese medicine clinic, where she meets the calm and refined doctor He Suye (played by Zhang Linghe). Their initial doctor-patient relationshipis complicated by Xifan's frequent forgetfulness inpicking upherprescriptions, leading to humorous interactions.
