Newlyweds Mu Yao and Liu Fuyi are settling into marital bliss... until a creepy voice starts haunting Mu Yao. She investigates and finds a "dead" villager outside the village. Plot Twist: Everyone’s a Zombie (Kind Of)
Mu Yao discovers the villagers all have matching chest scars from Shi Niangzi’s "healing." Cue flashbacks to that sketchy "dead" guy. She races to rescue Liu Fuyi, only to find him brainwashed by the real puppet master: Chu Chu, the vengeful half-human/half-yao daughter of Shi Niangzi and Li Zhun. The subplot hits hard: She’s been hoarding a "琉璃心" (glass heart) to resurrect her sister Seductive Lady. But when she tries to kill Mu Sheng for his yao core, Miaomigoat fights through memory loss (and literal pain) to save him. The kicker?
