Episode Summary
Xie Xuechen, a powerful cultivator, is imprisoned in the agonizing Dark Clan Melting Realm. Mu Xuanling, the Dark Clan's Holy Maiden, is intrigued by him. Lord Sang Qi of the Dark Clan seeks the Chaos Pearl, aided by the Xiuxian Pavilion. Mu Xuanling helps Xie Xuechen escape, questioning Sang Qi's alliance with humans. They briefly hide, posing as a couple, but are pursued by Yu Ying, whom Mu Xuanling outsmarts.

The premiere episode of "The Blossoming Love" plunges us into a world of intense conflict and simmering passions. We're introduced to Xie Xuechen, a powerful cultivator known as the "Child of Heaven" and the strongest sword master, who finds himself imprisoned in the dreaded Dark Clan Melting Realm. This place is no ordinary prison; it's a legendary burial ground for ancient gods, where the tormented souls unleash their fury every hour, inflicting agonizing pain on any captive. It's said no one can survive more than three days, but Xie Xuechen has endured seven.
Enter Mu Xuanling, the alluring and seemingly ruthless Holy Maiden of the Dark Clan. She's immediately captivated by Xie Xuechen's striking appearance and resilience. There's a hint of a past connection, a flicker of recognition, but Xie Xuechen rebuffs her advances. Mu Xuanling, however, is persistent, taunting him about his unwavering resolve and surprisingly soft lips. She notes the irony of his selfless sacrifice for the human race, having exhausted all his power to protect them.
Meanwhile, we meet Sang Qi, the Lord of the Dark Clan. He's currently in seclusion, but an urgent visit from the elder of the Xiuxian Pavilion interrupts him. The elder reminds Sang Qi of a deal they made, specifically mentioning the coveted Chaos Pearl. Sang Qi assures him he's searching for it and cryptically takes something from the elder before dismissing him.
Mu Xuanling confronts Sang Qi, questioning his alliance with the human race, their sworn enemies. She suspects his motives and reveals her knowledge of his hunt for the Chaos Pearl and his belief that Xie Xuechen holds the key – the Immortal Alliance Token – to finding it. Their tense conversation is cut short by news: Xie Xuechen is on the attack.
Mu Xuanling confronts Xie Xuechen, who has easily defeated the guards. They engage in a brief but intense fight, where it's clear Mu Xuanling is superior. However, when Zhan Ying, a Dark Clan warrior, arrives to finish Xie Xuechen, Mu Xuanling makes a surprising move. She holds Xie Xuechen's sword to her own throat, whispering that this is exactly what she wants. She then escapes with him, leaving the Dark Clan behind.
After a brief exchange, Xie Xuechen collapses. Mu Xuanling takes him to a safe house, where they encounter an elderly woman. They pretend to be a runaway couple fleeing pursuers, and the woman kindly offers them food and shelter.
Their respite is short-lived. Yu Ying, another Dark Clan agent, tracks them down and traps them in a mind-bending illusion. Mu Xuanling, however, uses her cunning to turn the tables. She reminds Yu Ying that Xie Xuechen could never have escaped the Melting Realm alone and reveals that she was the one who helped him, sowing doubt in Yu Ying's mind and creating an opening for their escape.
