Episode Summary
Xie Xuechen and Mu Xuanling are pulled into a heart demon realm by Yu Ying, where Xie Xuechen confronts his father's disapproval of his love for Mu Xuanling. Nan Xuyue helps Xie Xuechen subdue a force controlling Mu Xuanling. Mu Xuanling tries to sway Nan Xuyue to her side. Gao Qiumin reveals a crucial secret about the Chaos Pearl and Miaohua Zunzhe being imprisoned by Su Ningzhen. Fu Lansheng searches for A'Bao's father, leading to a revelation through a blood sacrifice. Everyone converges on Mingyue Manor, where a secret passage is discovered.

The episode kicks off with some serious drama. Gao Qiumin overhears a shocking secret confessed by Su Ningzhen. Stunned, Gao Qiumin tries to leave, but Su Ningzhen stops her, begging her to forget everything she heard. Gao Qiumin quickly agrees and flees. Meanwhile, Xie Xuechen, pondering Mu Xuanling's unusual behavior, finds her in their room. Mu Xuanling, thinking he wouldn't return, says she was about to sleep. Now that he's back, she asks if they will continue their intimate moment. Xie Xuechen, however, claims he has too much to do and can't care for her, suggesting he'll send her back to Yongxue City. Mu Xuanling insists on staying with him, just as Yu Ying suddenly appears. Mu Xuanling wonders if Sang Qi has changed his plans, questioning Yu Ying's arrival.
Yu Ying then pulls both Xie Xuechen and Mu Xuanling into a shared heart demon realm. Mu Xuanling, surprised to be included, realizes this is an opportunity to see Xie Xuechen's deepest desires. She overhears a conversation between Xie Xuechen and his father. His father states that Xie Xuechen's training at Xueya was meant to strengthen his Dao heart, and now he's fallen in love with Mu Xuanling. Xie Xuechen insists that love and his training aren't contradictory. He then turns and sees Mu Xuanling behind him. His father tells him it's just an illusion and urges him to kill her, but Xie Xuechen refuses.
His father disappears, and the real Mu Xuanling approaches. Xie Xuechen wonders if she also has him in her deepest obsession, which is why she's entered the realm with him. Yu Ying questions Sang Qi about bringing Mu Xuanling into the heart demon realm. Sang Qi reveals his plan: to show Xie Xuechen that Mu Xuanling also has feelings for him. Back in the tent, Xie Xuechen sees Mu Xuanling suffering under the control of Sang Qi's Lingxi. He and Nan Xuyue work together to subdue the Lingxi. Xie Xuechen notices a black mole under Mu Xuanling's eye and asks Nan Xuyue if there's anything else unusual about her, but Nan Xuyue says there isn't.
Mu Xuanling awakens and finds Nan Xuyue alone. She confronts him, questioning why he's there alone knowing Xie Xuechen loves her. She tries to persuade Nan Xuyue to join her side, suggesting he's smarter than Xie Xuechen and can see through her. Mu Xuanling offers him the affection he desires. Nan Xuyue remains silent, implicitly agreeing. As Nan Xuyue prepares to leave, he mentions Mu Xuanling hasn't fully recovered, but Xie Xuechen assures him he'll take care of her. Gao Qiumin, having discovered some clues, rushes to inform Xie Xuechen. She reveals what she overheard from Su Ningzhen.
Gao Qiumin tells him that the whereabouts of the Chaos Pearl are likely connected to Miaohua Zunzhe. She explains that what she saw of Miaohua Zunzhe was completely different from Su Ningzhen's account. She saw Miaohua Zunzhe bound in chains, and Miaohua Zunzhe told her that Su Ningzhen was responsible. Furthermore, Miaohua Zunzhe stated that nobody hid the Chaos Pearl; they simply don't know where it is. Meanwhile, Fu Lansheng is diligently searching the family genealogy to find a father for A'Bao, but to no avail. Fu Lansheng seeks his father, Fu Yuanting, to borrow the blood sacrifice. Fu Yuanting is initially reluctant, but his interest is piqued when he hears Fu Lansheng mention that A'Bao's father is named Fu Cangli.
Duan Xiaorong urges Fu Yuanting to give the blood sacrifice to Fu Lansheng. After Fu Lansheng leaves, Duan Xiaorong points out that they've been searching for a long time without success, and since the blood sacrifice requires the blood of close relatives, this might be their chance. A'Bao drips her blood onto it, and they see that A'Bao's father is currently with Mu Xuanling and the others. Mu Xuanling's group is heading to Mingyue Manor to search for clues, and A'Bao and Fu Lansheng follow them. Elsewhere, Su Ningzhen, fearing Gao Qiumin's discovery, plots with Zai Xi to destroy Su Ningxi's room first. However, Xie Xuechen and his group have already arrived and discovered a secret passage.
