Episode Summary
Sang Qi discovers Su Ningxi's body and vows revenge. Su Ningzhen sacrifices herself. Xie Xuechen learns about the "Wuxin" water affecting Mu Xuanling's memory and sets out to find the antidote on Mount Luo Wu. Gao Qiumin faces opposition at the Mirror Flower Palace and is invited to both Bixiao Palace and Yongxue City, but doesn't go to either. Xie Xuechen and Mu Xuanling travel together, encountering a snake spirit. Fu Lansheng is distracted by his feelings for Gao Qiumin.

Xie Xuechen, holding his sword, asks Sang Qi if he knows why it's called "Jun Tian." He then channels the spiritual energy of nearby plants into the sword, declaring its true name should be "Wan Wu Sheng" (All Things Born), and strikes Sang Qi down. However, Sang Qi rises again, turning his attention to Gao Qiumin and Su Ningzhen. A frightened Gao Qiumin grabs a sword. Sang Qi demands to know where Su Ningxi is. Su Ningzhen tells him that he is more fit to see her sister. Pointing towards an unmarked grave, Su Ningzhen reveals Su Ningxi's resting place.
Su Ningzhen then transfers her sword to Gao Qiumin, who tearfully begs her not to leave. Su Ningzhen, her spiritual energy depleted, urges Gao Qiumin to be strong, seemingly seeing a vision of her sister, and states her intention to join her. Sang Qi discovers Su Ningxi's body at the grave, his severed arm lying beside her. Overcome with grief, he vows to take her home.
Meanwhile, Xie Xuechen observes Mu Xuanling, who is resting. He questions Nan Xuyue about what else besides the Lingxi resides within her. Nan Xuyue reveals it's "Wuxin" water. Xie Xuechen wonders if this is the secret Nan Xuyue spoke of. Nan Xuyue suggests that Mu Xuanling may not want to forget him, highlighting the pain she's endured for Xie Xuechen. Xie Xuechen is conflicted. Nan Xuyue explains that Mu Xuanling remembers their shared experiences but has forgotten the memories associated with drinking the "Wuxin" water, leading him to believe her memory has been altered. He claims that Mu Xuanling's heartache is proof of her love for Xie Xuechen, and implies he knows the antidote. Nan Xuyue reveals the antidote's ingredients, Longevity Lotus and Wuxin Cao, grow on Mount Luo Wu, their properties opposing yet intertwined. Xie Xuechen, aware of Nan Xuyue's feelings for Mu Xuanling, assures him he won't have a chance, vowing to protect her. He adds that he's realized he doesn't truly know Nan Xuyue. Nan Xuyue responds that ten years can change anyone.
Upon waking, Mu Xuanling receives a protective jade token from Nan Xuyue. Xie Xuechen interrupts, pulling her away to embark on their journey to Mount Luo Wu. Back at the Mirror Flower Palace, Gao Qiumin occupies Su Ningzhen's former seat, facing immediate opposition. Fu Lansheng arrives, defending her, but Gao Qiumin dismisses his efforts, leading him away. Fu Lansheng comforts her and invites her to the Bixiao Palace.
Xie Xuechen also extends an invitation to Gao Qiumin, to Yongxue City, but she declines. He notes that only a few people know Mu Xuanling is the Chaos Pearl, expecting Gao Qiumin to reveal this information, which she hasn't. Gao Qiumin states she intends to expose this secret, viewing it as leverage against Mu Xuanling. Xie Xuechen smiles, recognizing her soft heart beneath her tough exterior. He takes Mu Xuanling to a place filled with Spirit Clan members. During a meal, Mu Xuanling is distracted by muscular men at another table, prompting Xie Xuechen to use his power to silence her when she argues.
At an inn, the snake spirit owner is captivated by Xie Xuechen, attempting to obstruct them. Xie Xuechen releases Mu Xuanling's silencing spell, instructing her to deal with the snake spirit or face being silenced again. They reach their room, where Xie Xuechen offers Mu Xuanling the bed, opting to meditate himself. Meanwhile, Fu Lansheng brings Gao Qiumin to Bixiao Palace. Duan Xiaorong instructs Fu Lansheng to check the accounts, promising to prepare a room for Gao Qiumin. Afterward, Fu Yuanting questions Duan Xiaorong's seemingly harsh treatment of Gao Qiumin, considering her potential as a daughter-in-law. Duan Xiaorong explains it's a way to establish dominance, a "mother-in-law's" initial test. Fu Lansheng, preoccupied with thoughts of Gao Qiumin, rushes to find her.
