Zhang Qiming's grand plans for a lavish wedding reception at the Oriental Pearl Tower hit a snag. After overhearing his former colleagues gossiping about Ai Ping being a gold digger, only after his money, a furious Qiming decides to change his plans. He tells Ai Ping that the economic downturn has impacted their company's finances, suggesting a more modest celebration. Ai Ping, completely unfazed by the venue change, agrees that a simple, home-cooked meal with close friends would be just as wonderful. Qiming also seeks Xiao Han's opinion, and with everyone on board, the decision is made to have a cozy, at-home wedding.

Meanwhile, Qian Jiayue feels a pang of sadness whenever she passes by Xiao Han's old house, now that Xiao Han has moved out. Mao Tou teases her about meeting her online friend, but Jiayue brushes him off, claiming she's busy "wrapping things up" from her past, though she doesn't elaborate.

It turns out that Qiming's wedding and Jiayue's birthday fall on the same day. As Jiayue, her mother, and her grandmother prepare to leave for the wedding, they're greeted by a surprise. Ka Men, Zhang Mo, Liu Jianfeng, and other friends arrive with birthday gifts for Jiayue. Ka Men gifts her a set of "New Concept English" books, Jianfeng presents ten tea-boiled eggs, Chen Mo gives her a handmade comic book, and Chang Wuji offers a moonstone. Jiayue is deeply touched by this unforgettable birthday celebration.

The wedding ceremony takes place at Qiming's home, with Ka Men's parents acting as the hosts. Surrounded by their closest friends, Ai Ping, radiant in a red dress, walks in arm-in-arm with Qiming. Qiming, overcome with emotion, gets down on one knee and vows to take care of Ai Ping, promising to follow her lead and obey her completely. Ai Ping, deeply moved by the man who has been her steadfast companion for years, expresses her gratitude for his unwavering support, encouragement, and care. She pledges to stand by him, even joking that she'd take him to the moon as her "rabbit." It's a heartwarming ceremony, culminating in the exchange of rings and the heartfelt applause of their friends.

Xiue's mother, who suffers from moments of confusion, adds a touching, albeit slightly chaotic, element to the celebration. One moment she's calling out for "Jianguo," and the next, she recognizes Qiming. Qiming, playing along, tells her that he is her son, Jianguo. The elderly woman, tears streaming down her face, trembles with joy, muttering that Jianguo is finally married. She then blows the whistle she used to carry as the head of the Women's Association, marking a joyful and poignant end to the ceremony.

Later, Xiao Han returns home to pack up some belongings. Mao Tou, fiddling with his camera, casually mentions taking a photo of Jiayue and Xiao Han together. As the two girls stand side-by-side, Jiayue smiles. It's their first photo together, just the two of them.

As Mao Tou snaps the picture, he realizes that this fulfills Jiayue's earlier wish to "put a period" on a certain story. She had once lamented not having a solo photo with Xiao Han, and now, that wish has finally come true.
