Spoiler Alert

The episode opens with Lu Na and A'Lai back home. Lu Na drops a bombshell: she's from 20 years in the future, and the little girl A'Lai rescued at the hotel earlier that day was actually a young Lu Na. She explains that after A'Lai saved her, she found his lighter. She eventually moved to the US with her parents, studied art, and became a manga artist. Upon returning to China, she had a police friend pull A'Lai's file, only to discover he was killed in the line of duty by a released convict—but not during the incident when she time-traveled to save him.

Lu Na created a manga series based on A'Lai's cases, combining her memories with newspaper reports, as a tribute to him. However, she never wrote an ending because she couldn't accept his death. A'Lai is understandably shaken to learn his fate. Lu Na realizes that her time travel was triggered by a "golden moon" conjunction and that the lighter was the key. But the present-day A'Lai doesn't have it, as the future Lu Na has it. However, Lu Na believes A'Lai's destiny might change. He was originally promoted to police chief because of the Liu Meng case, but now he's been suspended because of it. Lu Na thinks this could be a turning point.

The episode then shifts focus to a new manga storyline featuring Mark, a delivery boy at a restaurant. He's struggling financially, constantly hounded by his landlady for rent. After a wasteful meal by a group of rich kids, including Jiang Yuan, Mark makes a comment about the leftover food. Jiang Yuan takes notice and decides to prank him.

Mark's next deliveries are to the abandoned St. Mary's Hospital, a creepy place rumored to be haunted. He's initially terrified by a girl in a student uniform who claims the hospital is filled with the sounds of wronged spirits. Later, Mark's delivery box goes missing, and he's convinced he saw someone (or something) lurking nearby. His boss suspects he's stealing the food and refuses to pay him until he brings back the money from St. Mary's. Desperate to keep his job, Mark returns to the hospital.

This time, he sees the "ghost's" face and faints. Jiang Yuan and his friends reveal themselves—it was all a prank. Panicked that they've gone too far, they try to get Mark to a hospital. But the lights go out, the door slams shut, and they see two shadowy figures. A "ghost" in red clothing chases them away. After they leave, Mark wakes up. His boss and landlady appear, revealing they've turned the tables on Jiang Yuan. The next day, Jiang Yuan personally delivers the payment to the restaurant.

The episode returns to A'Lai and Lu Na, who visit St. Mary's Hospital. They hear crying and follow it to the morgue, where they find a distraught girl named Lan Xin. She reveals she was assaulted by Jiang Yuan. Jiang Yuan is reported for rape but, due to his brother's influence, the police barely investigate. After his release, Lan Xin's mother confronts him, begging for justice. With nowhere to turn, Lan Xin commits suicide. A'Lai and Lu Na are shocked to read about it in the newspaper, realizing the police did nothing.
