Spoiler Alert
In this episode of "Back for You," A'Lai uncovers a new, bizarre story. This one centers around Yuan San, a man deeply engrossed in science fiction novels. Yuan San suffers from vivid dreams where he's trapped in a white room, tormented by voices. His family sends him for psychological treatment, and after undergoing hypnotherapy, Yuan San's condition improves. He seemingly escapes the white room. However, Yuan San believes he has developed the power of teleportation, activated by an old pocket watch. He can transport himself to other locations, though the destinations are unpredictable – sometimes he ends up in someone's bathtub, but he remains invisible to others.
Yuan San's teleportation is erratic. One time, he accidentally appears in his neighbor's apartment. His vision is limited, and he misinterprets his neighbor, a beautiful ballet dancer named Mi Xue'er, changing a lightbulb as a suicide attempt. He wakes up at home, rushes to Mi Xue'er's apartment, and bursts in to save her. It's an embarrassing misunderstanding. Mi Xue'er is understandably freaked out, believing Yuan San was spying on her, and dismisses his teleportation explanation as insanity.
Yuan San falls for Mi Xue'er. He practices his "teleportation," eventually mastering it to the point where he can appear wherever he wants. He frequently visits Mi Xue'er's apartment, invisibly observing her. He watches her celebrate her birthday with friends, where she wishes for snow. Determined to fulfill her wish, Yuan San builds a small machine that spews out cotton, creating a snow-like effect.
However, Mi Xue'er mistakenly attributes the "snow" to her upstairs neighbor, Ai Lun. She goes to thank Ai Lun, but he denies sending any gift. Mi Xue'er insists, pushing her way into his apartment, only to discover a gruesome scene: a woman's birthday celebration turned bloody, with the woman lying on the sofa. Terrified, Mi Xue'er flees, but Ai Lun pursues her, breaking into her apartment with murderous intent. He's seen too much. Yuan San teleports to Mi Xue'er's place, witnessing Ai Lun's attack. Unable to stop it directly with his "powers," he teleports home, grabs a fruit knife, and rushes back, stabbing Ai Lun multiple times. Instead of gratitude, Mi Xue'er screams, accusing Yuan San of being a murderer.
A'Lai, piecing together the location from the comic book illustrations, arrives at the scene. He finds Yuan San chasing Mi Xue'er and Ai Lun, and subdues Yuan San, taking him into custody. The truth is revealed: Yuan San has no teleportation abilities. He's extremely isolated, with no friends, and spends his days spying on the opposite building with binoculars. Everything was a product of his imagination. Ai Lun and Mi Xue'er were rehearsing a play, and Yuan San, misinterpreting the scene, attacked Ai Lun to "protect" Mi Xue'er. They don't even know him.
