The episode kicks off with Jing Qichi being roped into a soccer game by his roommate. Chen Huan'er and her roommates happen to pass by, catching sight of Jing Qichi's impressive moves on the field. He runs over to Chen Huan'er after spotting her, but she simply hands him some medicine from Qian Lina and walks away, leaving her roommates buzzing with curiosity.
Later, Chen Huan'er's roommate shows her a post on an online forum – a photo of Jing Qichi playing soccer has gone viral, with many girls asking for his contact info. The roommates tease Chen Huan'er, wondering if she has any feelings for Jing Qichi after being classmates for three years. Chen Huan'er plays it cool and quickly changes the subject. Jing Qichi messages her, asking if she's still mad, but she doesn't reply, tossing and turning in bed. Another roommate returns from a day of studying, and after a brief exchange, Chen Huan'er turns off the AC, resulting in a sleepless, hot night for herself.
The next day, there's a social event between different departments. Chen Huan'er's roommates bring her along, even applying lipstick for her. At the student union gathering, she meets Tian Chi. Jing Qichi's roommate is also there, and a senior student expresses her hope that Jing Qichi will join them. The roommate secretly snaps a photo of Chen Huan'er drinking and sends it to Jing Qichi. Meanwhile, Qian Lina is frantically trying to reach Chen Huan'er, eventually calling Jing Qichi in a panic. He sees the photo and rushes to the event.
Jing Qichi arrives to find Chen Huan'er completely drunk and passed out on a table. He immediately takes her away. Her roommates head back to the dorm early. Jing Qichi is clearly upset by Chen Huan'er's state, his fists clenched. He carries her on his back, but she drunkenly punches him in the head. Chen Huan'er slurs accusations at Jing Qichi, claiming he deceived her, and they have a messy argument. Jing Qichi ends up carrying her back to the dorm.
The following morning, Chen Huan'er wakes up to her roommates, Huang Lu and Qiu Li, holding honey water and looking disapproving. It turns out Chen Huan'er made it upstairs alone the night before and ended up in Qiu Li's bed, refusing to leave. They also mention that Tian Chi called her, and Chen Huan'er finds over a dozen missed calls from Qian Lina. After replying to Tian Chi, she calls back Qian Lina. After this, Chen Huan'er is mocked by Jing Qichi after getting caught when she fills in for attendance for Huang Lu and Qiu Li. After class, Chen Huan'er asks Jing Qichi about the previous night, worried she did something embarrassing. He teases her intentionally. Zhou Ye approaches Chen Huan'er to get her contact information, but Jing Qichi intercepts.
The trio goes to check out club recruitment. A senior student, Du Wei, invites Jing Qichi and Zhou Ye to join the computer club. Chen Huan'er, sensing the situation, says she'll look around on her own, but Tian Chi unexpectedly joins her. Jing Qichi messages Chen Huan'er immediately after the computer club session, and Du Wei makes a point of giving Jing Qichi her contact information.
Jing Qichi and Zhou Ye arrive at the club recruitment area to find Chen Huan'er and Tian Chi sitting together. She's planning to join the sports department because Tian Chi says it's relaxed. Qiu Li and Huang Lu suspect Tian Chi has feelings for Chen Huan'er. Qiu Li and Dong Huixin argue about the air conditioning. Chen Huan'er receives a call from Qi Qi, but it's cut short when Song Cong finishes class. Qi Qi waits for Song Cong and asks him to walk with her around the school.
Du Wei keeps messaging Jing Qichi about joining the club, and Zhou Ye notes that she's clearly interested in him.
