Graduation day arrives, and Wen Yifan is helping a classmate move her belongings. While assisting her friend load luggage into a taxi at the Yihe University gate, Wen Yifan freezes. Through the taxi window, she catches a glimpse of the driver's profile, sending her into a panic. She immediately sprints back into the school.

The demands of their careers mean that Sang Yan and Wen Yifan, despite living together, rarely see each other. Sang Yan often works late into the night, while Wen Yifan is frequently called away on sudden assignments. One night, Sang Yan arrives home just as Wen Yifan receives an urgent call from Qian Wenhua. A taxi has crashed into a noodle shop during a passing maneuver, injuring both the driver and the passenger. Firefighters extract the injured, and Wen Yifan sees the driver's face. She quickly hides, her breathing becoming labored. The driver seems to recognize her, staring intently at Wen Yifan even as he's being carried away on a stretcher. Terrified of being identified, Wen Yifan deliberately omits her own name when reporting the news story.

Early Saturday morning, Wen Yifan finds Sang Yan in the kitchen and embraces him tightly for a long time. She silently vows to treat him better than she has in the past. After releasing him, she gives him a light kiss. Sang Yan, however, isn't satisfied with this fleeting affection. He calls her back, pulling her into a deep kiss. He teases her about her poor kissing skills, even offering "lessons" while they eat breakfast porridge.

Meanwhile, Zhong Siqiao tries to counsel Su Haoan regarding his grandfather's situation. She encourages him to talk to his grandmother and have a family discussion. His grandfather's illness prompted him to urge his grandmother to go on a road trip, and the car accident that resulted remains a deep wound for the family. He wants his grandmother to find happiness. Su Haoan is touched by Zhong Siqiao's constant concern for others, but she explains that her own happiness is tied to the well-being of those around her. Su Haoan asks if she's missed him, and Zhong Siqiao admits she has, but was reluctant to let him know. Hearing this, Su Haoan kisses her.

Back home, Wen Yifan, remembering Sang Yan's critique of her kissing, practices in front of her mirror, quickly becoming embarrassed. Sang Yan shows Wen Yifan his college photos. She comments that Duan Jiaxu was very handsome, a campus heartthrob, with a sunny, youthful charm. Sang Yan's face immediately changes, and he grumbles that Duan Jiaxu is older, belonging to a previous generation. His jealousy intensifies as he flips through the album, finding numerous photos of himself with Duan Jiaxu. He abruptly ends the photo viewing, claiming he's tired and taking the album with him to bed.

Wen Yifan presents Sang Yan with a pre-planned Valentine's Day gift. She explains that she wanted to avoid the cliché of a candlelit dinner, as she considers Sang Yan to be special. The gift is a bracelet with a small snowflake charm, representing the meaning of "Shuang Jiang" (First Frost). After helping him put it on, she asks Sang Yan to fasten a matching bracelet with a small mulberry leaf charm onto her wrist. Sang Yan's gift to her is a voice recorder, thoughtfully filled with many recorded messages.

Grandfather Su brings Su Haoan and Zhong Siqiao to his old home, where he personally arranged every detail. As they talk, his grandmother returns, having learned everything. She tells her husband that they are a couple for life and that true happiness comes from being with family.

Wen Yifan expresses deep regret for not being a part of Sang Yan's college years. She wishes she could have shared every moment of joy and sorrow with him. Moving forward, Wen Yifan wants to be Sang Yan's "power bank," providing him with endless energy.
