Episode Summary
Wen Yifan changes her college plans and moves to Hong Kong, where she struggles but finds work as a dance teacher. Sang Yan searches for her after hearing she might be there, but returns to Nanwu unsuccessful. Zhong Siqiao and Su Haoan travel to Hong Kong, find Wen Yifan, and encourage her to contact Sang Yan. Wen Yifan also confronts Che Xingde, vowing to make him pay for his actions. Finally, Wen Yifan calls Sang Yan, who is about to resign from his job, and asks to meet him.

After giving her statement at the police station, Wen Yifan goes home with Officer Chen. Chen's daughter, Chen Xi, is a welcoming and cheerful girl. She assures Wen Yifan that many girls who've visited their home, initially unhappy, have left feeling much better, and she promises to do the same for Wen Yifan. Chen Xi and Wen Yifan are the same age, and after Chen Xi changed her college aspirations, Wen Yifan did too, wanting to go somewhere completely unknown.
Meanwhile, Sang Yan, despite being injured, refuses to go to the hospital. After patching himself up, he finds Xiang Lang waiting for him. Xiang Lang tells Sang Yan that he thinks he saw Wen Yifan in Hong Kong. As for Wen Yifan changing her college plans, Xiang Lang admits he made that up; he doesn't know why she chose Yihe University but suggests it might be related to Che Yanqin and Che Xingde.
Sang Yan immediately flies to Hong Kong, following Xiang Lang's leads to search for Wen Yifan. He learns from her landlord that she changed her last name to Sang and has been struggling. After days of searching without success and pressure from work, Sang Yan returns to Nanwu. However, he asks Xiang Lang and Su Haoan's grandparents to keep an eye out for her.
Wen Yifan starts teaching at a dance studio she visited during a previous business trip to Hong Kong, and the children love her. Zhong Siqiao and Su Haoan travel to Hong Kong together to find Wen Yifan. They share a room, and Zhong Siqiao, noticing Su Haoan's familiarity with the receptionist, questions him. Su Haoan explains he avoids traveling with girlfriends to prevent potential conflicts over values and habits, but he feels comfortable with Zhong Siqiao. Despite sharing a bed, Su Haoan is careful not to cross any lines. Zhong Siqiao is happy with his change and kisses him, declaring she wants them to be together. Su Haoan, initially stunned, passionately kisses her back. In the heat of the moment, they realize they don't have protection and end up sitting by the bed, waiting for sunrise.
Wen Yifan demonstrates a footwork sequence for her students but lands awkwardly, though she denies having a foot injury. Her colleague, Ah Sen, invites her to dinner and encourages her, saying happiness follows setbacks, which resonates with Wen Yifan.
Zhong Siqiao and Su Haoan finally spot Wen Yifan. Zhong Siqiao rushes to hug her. After arranging a dinner meeting with Zhong Siqiao, Wen Yifan finds her old phone and turns it on. A flood of messages comes in, including ones from Sang Yan and Che Xingde. Wen Yifan messages Che Xingde, declaring she won't run anymore and will ensure he faces justice, revealing she's currently in Hong Kong.
Zhong Siqiao wants to gauge Wen Yifan's feelings before notifying Sang Yan, and Su Haoan agrees. The next day, during dinner, Zhong Siqiao intentionally pulls Su Haoan away to give Wen Yifan space to contact Sang Yan. Wen Yifan calls Sang Yan, who is in the process of writing his resignation letter. She tells him she wants to see him.
