Spoiler Alert
The pressure is on as the press conference for Fang Jin's new product launch approaches. Su Chengcheng, who has been using a high-tech bracelet to transform into Fang Jin, can't attend, forcing her to call out. Xu Yue, ever the antagonist, complains about Chengcheng's "laziness." Meanwhile, the real Fang Jin is at home, struggling. As she prepares to leave with her sisters, Su Qingli and Lin Yuan, she drops her contact lenses. Unable to clearly see, she panics, feeling useless and overwhelmed by her anxiety about attending the event. She claims to be unwell and refuses to go.
Su Qingli insists that Fang Jin's presence is crucial for the company and the lab's future, but Su Chengcheng sees that Fang Jin is psychologically resisting. The sisters argue, with Qingli suggesting Chengcheng go in Fang Jin's place. Chengcheng refuses, stating that this is Fang Jin's life and moment. Instead, she proposes to talk to Fang Jin personally.
Outside the venue, Su Qingli anxiously awaits Fang Jin. Tang Qi arrives, noticing Qingli's anxiety and asking why she isn't inside. Qingli deflects, questioning Tang Qi about his own experiences with self-doubt. Meanwhile, Chengcheng, disguised as Fang Jin, takes charge of the press conference setup, impressing everyone, including Tang Qi. Gu Yu encourages Tang Qi to make a move.
Chengcheng, still as Fang Jin, alters the conference's flow, encouraging the real Fang Jin to present herself authentically. Initially nervous, Fang Jin gains confidence, delivering a natural and genuine presentation that earns widespread praise.
Later, Chengcheng (as Fang Jin) sits alone outside. Tang Qi approaches, and they have a surprisingly engaging conversation. Tang Qi finds himself drawn to "Fang Jin's" unique insights and finally confesses his feelings. Chengcheng, caught off guard, uses an incoming call as an excuse to escape.
Tang Qi then encounters the real Fang Jin, whose personality seems drastically different. Confused, he still seeks her feelings, but Fang Jin, unaware of his confession to "Chengcheng-as-Fang-Jin," gives a vague response. Tang Qi suspects he's dealing with two different people and questions Fang Jin, who feigns ignorance and leaves.
Fang Jin later learns about Tang Qi's confession. She's baffled, questioning why a younger man like Tang Qi would be interested in her, a divorced woman he barely knows. She concludes that Tang Qi is actually in love with the persona Chengcheng created. Chengcheng is shocked by this revelation, believing she's not Tang Qi's type. Su Qingli worries about Tang Qi discovering the truth.
Tang Qi brings Gu Yu into the situation, explaining his belief that there are two Fang Jins with distinct personalities. He recounts the strange events surrounding his confession. Gu Yu, however, thinks Fang Jin is simply struggling to process Tang Qi's feelings and is pretending to have amnesia to avoid him. Tang Qi remains convinced that he's fallen for one "Fang Jin" and not the other.
In a lighter subplot, Chengcheng's bracelet gets an upgrade. It now has the power to transform her into characters from Lin Yuan's comics, including Lin Yuan's male crush. Lin Yuan is initially thrilled, believing her fictional character has come to life, only to be disappointed when she discovers it's just Chengcheng's bracelet at work.
