Su Chengcheng returns to work, excited to greet everyone, but is met with silence, creating an awkward and disheartening moment. Just as she's feeling down, a burst of confetti rains down, and her colleagues surprise her with a celebration. Gu Yu personally congratulates her, and even announces that the marketing department's bonuses will be doubled. The celebratory mood is briefly interrupted when flowers arrive, which Su Chengcheng initially believes are from Tang Qi, only to discover they're for Xu Yue. Annoyed, Su Chengcheng remembers she paid for the flowers and messages Tang Qi, reminding him. At the same time, Tang Qi messages Fang Jin, requesting a meeting. Su Chengcheng, using Fang Jin's identity, declines.
Su Chengcheng ponders how to make Tang Qi lose interest in Fang Jin and shares her thoughts with Fang Jin, planning to end Tang Qi's pursuit once and for all. Fang Jin agrees to follow Su Chengcheng's lead, and Su Chengcheng (as Fang Jin) agrees to meet Tang Qi. Meanwhile, Tang Qi messages Su Chengcheng again, stating the flower refund will take a week. Tang Qi, confused by encountering two seemingly different versions of Fang Jin, consults a psychologist.
Over the weekend, Fang Jin arranges to meet Tang Qi at a tennis court. Tang Qi arrives with Gu Yu, only to find Fang Jin learning tennis from a male instructor, with whom she's acting very flirtatiously. Seeing Tang Qi and Gu Yu, Fang Jin suggests a doubles match. Tang Qi, jealous of the male instructor, becomes competitive, but he and Gu Yu are unable to defeat Fang Jin and her coach.
During a break, Fang Jin wipes the sweat from the instructor's brow, intentionally acting intimately. It's revealed that the tennis instructor is actually Su Chengcheng in disguise. Tang Qi, furious at the closeness between Fang Jin and Su Chengcheng (as the instructor), wants to continue playing to teach the instructor a lesson, but ultimately loses. In the locker room, Su Chengcheng, out of habit, almost follows Fang Jin into the women's locker room, but is stopped by Tang Qi. Su Chengcheng, feeling awkward and needing to maintain the disguise, follows them into the men's locker room. Uncomfortable, she quickly excuses herself, claiming she needs to use the restroom.
Tang Qi asks to speak with Fang Jin alone. Su Chengcheng, still disguised as Fang Jin, meets him. Tang Qi, surprisingly, feels a flutter of attraction, recognizing this "Fang Jin" as the one he likes. After consulting the psychologist, he believes Fang Jin has a split personality, explaining the two different versions he's encountered. Su Chengcheng, Fang Jin, Lin Yuan, and Su Qingli gather, enjoying desserts while brainstorming how to handle Tang Qi's belief in the split personality. Su Chengcheng, as Fang Jin, meets Tang Qi and explains that the split personality is a result of past domestic abuse, creating a protective alter ego. She claims the treatment is almost complete, and the other personality will soon disappear.
Tang Qi, saddened that the personality he likes is about to vanish, begs Su Chengcheng (as Fang Jin) to see a rainbow with him one last time. He takes her to a staircase he designed, painted in the colors of the rainbow. Su Chengcheng is deeply moved, and they embrace, reminiscing about their experiences while Su Chengcheng was posing as Fang Jin. Tang Qi bids a heartfelt farewell to the disappearing "Fang Jin," as Su Chengcheng walks away, ascending the rainbow staircase, leaving Tang Qi gazing longingly after her.
