Episode Summary
Su Chengcheng discovers a mysterious bracelet that allows her to change her appearance. Tang Qi, searching for a model for his company's ad campaign, becomes interested in Chengcheng's transformed look, unaware it's her. Misunderstandings and arguments ensue, fueled by Tang Qi's past impressions of Chengcheng and her newfound ability to alter her identity. Chengcheng, with her best friend, begins to discover the bracelet's power.

The episode kicks off with Su Chengcheng returning home, flowers in hand, only to be met with a shocking twist: her own parents don't recognize her. Confused, she catches her reflection in a car window and sees a completely different face staring back. She's horrified, but when she pulls out a mirror, she sees her usual, "disheveled" self. Meanwhile, Tang Qi, back at the lab after a disastrous alumni gathering, is fixated on a photo of Chengcheng looking her worst. When a coworker asks who the girl is, Tang Qi dismisses her as just an ordinary classmate.
The next morning, Chengcheng gets a dose of reality from her sister, Su Qingli, who's rushing off to work and tells Chengcheng to make an effort with her appearance. Remembering Tang Qi's cruel words about her looks from the previous night, Chengcheng fires back, but Qingli remains unfazed, confidently asserting her own beauty.
At Tang Qi's company, the team is prepping for a promotional photoshoot, but their celebrity model is a no-show. Tang Qi suggests using an "ordinary person" as a model, but Gu Yu vehemently opposes the idea. He argues that their startup needs star power to gain recognition.
Later, while wandering the streets, Chengcheng gets a call from her best friend, Lin Yuan. Lin Yuan informs her that Tang Qi wants to apologize for his behavior the night before. Excited, Chengcheng rushes to meet him. Lin Yuan, a big supporter of Tang Qi's business (even letting him use her family's warehouse for storage), tries to force an apology out of him. But Tang Qi stubbornly refuses, insisting that Chengcheng should be the one reflecting on her actions. Furious, Lin Yuan demands he apologize, but Chengcheng, overhearing his words, leaves in a huff.
Outside the café, a child runs into the street, nearly getting hit by a taxi. Chengcheng, without hesitation, rushes to save the child. Tang Qi witnesses the scene, but he's too far away to help. In the aftermath, Tang Qi, not realizing this "new" Chengcheng is the same person, approaches her, struck by her appearance. He thinks she'd be perfect for his ad campaign. Chengcheng, catching her reflection in Tang Qi's glasses, sees her transformed face again. After they part, Lin Yuan calls, and Chengcheng, still in her altered appearance, walks right up to her baffled best friend.
Back at the company, Tang Qi sketches Chengcheng's transformed face during a meeting, declaring it the perfect embodiment of their product's appeal. However, he lacks her contact information and tasks his team with finding her. Meanwhile, Chengcheng tries to explain the situation to Lin Yuan, who is initially skeptical. After a series of tests, Lin Yuan finally believes her. Lin Yuan tries to remove the bracelet, but she can't. Chengcheng accidentally triggers a switch on the bracelet, revealing a control panel only she can see. She finds the "off" button, and her appearance reverts to normal. They discover the bracelet is incredibly powerful, allowing Chengcheng to change her identity and even access a wardrobe of elegant clothes.
On her way home, Chengcheng finds someone harassing her sister, Qingli. Without a second thought, she beats up the harasser, sending him running. Later, Chengcheng receives a call from Wu Ying at QianNiao Ji Company, but it turns out to be a misunderstanding. Tang Qi is looking for the transformed Chengcheng. The two end up arguing, and Chengcheng storms off. Tang Qi, however, flashes back to a high school memory of Chengcheng cracking walnuts with her bare hands, revealing the deep-seated impression her "barbaric" behavior left on him. In the restroom, Chengcheng, fuming over Tang Qi's insults about her appearance, activates the bracelet once more.
