Su Chengcheng rushes to his aid, leading Tang Qi to misinterpret their closeness. Tang Qi pulls Su Chengcheng aside, questioning her relationship with Wenxin. He's relieved to discover they're siblings. Tang Qi, admitting he was jealous seeing them together buying pastries, plans a heartfelt confession. However, a falling bird's nest interrupts his grand gesture, causing Su Chengcheng to pull him into a protective embrace. Tang Qi seizes the moment, confessing his feelings. Su Chengcheng, caught off guard, accidentally throws him to the ground, suspecting it's a prank for revenge.
Later that night, Tang Qi reminisces about his confession and calls Gu Yu, asking for Su Chengcheng's photo. He's realized why Su Chengcheng is the only one who appears in color to him. At the QianNiao Ji company meeting, discussions revolve around the new fragrance's promotion. Su Chengcheng suggests incorporating elderly people, but the idea faces skepticism. Some worry it will make the fragrance seem unfashionable, while others fear the wide age range will confuse the product's positioning and hurt sales. Tang Qi, however, firmly supports Su Chengcheng, presenting data to back her up. The team decides to give it a shot, aiming to cast renowned artist Bai Mingzhu as the face of the new fragrance. Gu Yu assigns Su Chengcheng as the lead for the promotional campaign, but with a tight deadline: they have only three days to secure Bai Mingzhu, or the elderly concept will be scrapped. Tang Qi manages to arrange a meeting with Bai Mingzhu's granddaughter, and he invites Su Chengcheng along.
Su Chengcheng and Tang Qi meet Bai Mingzhu's granddaughter, Jiang Xizhen, an accomplished and intellectual archer. It turns out Jiang Xizhen and Su Chengcheng are high school classmates, and they reminisce about their past. Jiang Xizhen clears up Tang Qi's misconception that Su Chengcheng was a bully. Jiang Xizhen admits securing her grandmother's approval will be tough but suggests finding a specific photograph might sway her. Jiang Xizhen then attempts to confess her feelings to Tang Qi, prompting Su Chengcheng to leave. However, Tang Qi stops her, declaring his feelings for someone else in front of Su Chengcheng, thus rejecting Jiang Xizhen.
