Episode Summary
Zheng Hao and Shi Haifeng investigate companies with fraudulent invoices, discovering a connection to previous cases. Zhan Yi is reprimanded for his aggressive tactics. Zheng Hao endures a series of disastrous blind dates arranged by his father, while Gao Shubo pursues Liang Jinqiu, creating a potential love triangle.

Shi Haifeng, impressed by Xiong Yi's top ranking in the business competition, asks him for study tips. Xiong Yi jokingly tells him to eat more meat, but Li Xinxin scolds him for being silly. Xiong Yi then casually mentions that their investigation uncovered numerous companies issuing fake invoices, a case now handed over to Zheng Hao's second inspection team. Hearing this, Shi Haifeng, who is noted for his diligence despite his difficult family background, rushes back to the office without finishing his meal.
Shi Haifeng hurries to find Zheng Hao, who is coincidentally on his way to the Bureau of Industry and Commerce to investigate the companies with fake invoices. Shi Haifeng joins him, and they discover that the companies were all registered at the same time, with the same tax agent, Yang Weidong. Shi Haifeng recalls that the tax agent for the companies that absconded from Linzhou was also Yang Weidong. Zheng Hao immediately returns to hold an emergency meeting and lays out a detailed plan, with everyone quickly springing into action. Li Dongjie observes all of this.
Meanwhile, a video of Zhan Yi dominating at the forest farm reaches Feng Dakai. Furious, Feng Dakai orders Lu Wangshui to summon Zhan Yi back for a reprimand. Zhan Yi immediately returns to Xindong, with Xiao Si accompanying him out of concern. Lu Wangshui berates Zhan Yi, forbidding him from using his "bandit" methods, and forces him to drink three large glasses of Baijiu (a strong Chinese liquor). Zhan Yi reluctantly drinks it all. Xiao Si, worried, wants to plead with Feng Dakai, but Lu Wangshui refuses, claiming it's Feng Dakai's order.
Back at home, Zheng Hao finds Xiong Yi helping Chen Xiaoxing assemble a toy. He asks Chen Xiaoxing to help him write an inspection report for tomorrow. Chen Xiaoxing readily agrees. Zheng Tianchou prepares a feast for Xiong Yi, who eats heartily. Zheng Tianchou tells Xiong Yi to visit often and reminds him to save money, so he won't have to borrow from Zheng Hao. Xiong Yi, confused because he hasn't borrowed any money, is unaware that Zheng Hao actually spent 4,000 yuan on a racket for Chen Xiaoxing. They lied to the frugal Zheng Tianchou, claiming it cost only 800 and that the remaining 3,200 was lent to Xiong Yi. Zheng Hao and Chen Xiaoxing cover for each other, and Zheng Tianchou, without further questioning, urges Zheng Hao to go on blind dates.
After seeing Xiong Yi off, Zheng Hao finds his father washing dishes. Feeling guilty, he agrees to go on a blind date the next day. Zheng Tianchou has arranged two dates for him. Zheng Hao reluctantly goes to a teahouse, but the first date, Li Minmin, is late. Zheng Hao calls his father, who tells him to wait. While wandering around, he overhears someone calling Li Minmin's name in a private room. She's engrossed in a mahjong game, having completely forgotten about the date. Zheng Hao introduces himself, and Li Minmin briefly learns about him before being called back to her game. Zheng Hao reports the failed date to his father, who tells him to go to the gym to meet his second date, Xu Li.
Zheng Hao arrives at the gym to find Xu Li boxing. Xu Li, an outgoing and adventurous woman who changes hobbies every two months, is impressed with Zheng Hao. After her workout, they go on a date. It starts raining, and they take shelter at the gym entrance. Xu Li admits she broke up with her boyfriend last month and asks about Zheng Hao's relationship history. Zheng Hao avoids the topic. Xu Li reveals she's been on ten dates and liked Zheng Hao at first sight. Zheng Hao is flustered by her fast-paced thinking.
Xu Li shows him a book called "Eurex," claiming it's her next project, and invites Zheng Hao to explore it with her. Zheng Hao feels they aren't a good match. Back home, he gives the book to Chen Xiaoxing, only to find out that Zheng Tianchou has arranged more blind dates for him next week. Zheng Hao is distressed.
Gao Shubo sends Liang Jinqiu flowers with a sentimental card. Liang Jinqiu gives the flowers to Yu Dana, who encourages her to accept Gao Shubo's affections. Liang Jinqiu, not ready for a relationship, finishes organizing Gao Shubo's company's finances and delivers them. The finance director, Sister Zhang, is unfamiliar with the new tax policies, so Liang Jinqiu takes her to the tax bureau to get some documents. Gao shubo lies that sister Zhang has something to do, and he wants to go to the tax bureau with Liang Jinqiu.
Liang Jinqiu happens to be at Xiong Yi's counter. Gao Shubo accompanies her, and Zheng Hao arrives to find Xiong Yi. Gao Shubo invites Xiong Yi and Zheng Hao to lunch. Xiong Yi politely declines, sensing Gao Shubo's interest in Liang Jinqiu and warning Zheng Hao to be careful.
Zheng Hao joins Gao Shubo and Liang Jinqiu for lunch. Gao Shubo is very attentive to Liang Jinqiu, asking the owner to change her tea to room temperature. Gao Shubo orders the restaurant's signature dish, charcoal-grilled lamb chops. Liang Jinqiu blurts out that Zheng Hao doesn't eat lamb.
