Cast & Character List

Gao Wei Guang as Yan Shao
Yan Shao is a formidable and enigmatic bounty hunter, renowned throughout the martial arts world. He's also a chivalrous xiake (a wandering swordsman or knight-errant), known for his uprightness, despite his fearsome reputation. Tall and imposing, Yan Shao projects an aura of cool detachment, but beneath his icy exterior lies a capacity for warmth and compassion. He carries the weight of a troubled past.
His path crosses with Rong Shu Kuang, a female swordswoman who suffers amnesia after a treacherous attack by the sinister Ghost Valley clan. Yan Shao rescues her and takes on the responsibility of escorting her back to the Yuchi Manor. This act of kindness plunges him into the dangerous and complex struggles of the martial arts world.
He becomes a steadfast ally to Rong Shu Kuang, joining forces with her to fight against the evil Ghost Valley clan and uphold justice. As they journey together, Yan Shao's feelings for Rong Shu Kuangevolve from simple protectiveness to a deep and abiding love. He shows a tender, vulnerable side of himself that is only visible to her. Alongside his romantic development, Yan Shao is also on a personal quest to uncover the truth about his own origins.

Xuan Lu as Rong Shu Kuang
Rong Shu Kuang isn't your typical damsel in distress. Originally Fang Yi, a modern-day, drama-loving young woman, she's unexpectedly transported into a WuXia (martial arts) world. She finds herself in the body of Rong Shu Kuang, a renowned swordswoman who has, unfortunately, lost all of her martial arts abilities.
Beautiful and intelligent, Rong Shu Kuang is no pushover. After losing her memory due to a conspiracy by the Ghost Valley Alliance, she is rescued by the enigmatic Yan Shao and brought to the Yuchi Manor. She quickly adapts to her new reality. She uses her modern smarts and courage to navigate the treacherous world of martial arts, employing a "workplace" mentality to deal with sect conflicts and even using "big data" analysis to find her opponents' weaknesses.
Rong Shu Kuang is a complex character. She's frank and forthright, decisive in her actions, and possesses the heroic spirit of the JiangHu (martial arts world). Yet, she also displays a softer, feminine side. Her relationship with Yan Shao evolves from constant bickering to a powerful partnership, creating palpable on-screen chemistry. She is resourceful, brave, and determined to make her mark in this new, dangerous world.

Ren Hao as Lin Shao Ci
Lin Shao Ci is the young master of the prestigious Yuchi Manor. Known for his gentle and refined demeanor, he's the picture of a polite and considerate nobleman. He is also the childhood sweetheart of Rong Shu Kuang. Their relationship is complicated by a love triangle involving Yan Shao, presenting a classic "childhood friend versus destined love" dilemma.
Lin Shao Ci has been in love with Rong Shu Kuangsince they were children. He is bound by a promise to his master, to protect Rong Shu Kuangat all costs. However, there is a tragic element. Rong Shu Kuanghas lost all memory of him, and they become separated after she arrives to Yuchi Manor.

Jia Nai as Lin Wan Ci
Lin Wan Ci is the second young lady of Yuchi Manor, a delicate beauty with a sharp mind. She's the younger sister of Lin Shao Ci and, though not related by blood, considers Rong Shu Kuang a sister.
Wanci is known for her intricate and sometimes calculating nature. She's observant and often uses subtle tactics to test those around her. She can be described as coy and a little cunning. Wanci also harbors her own secret desires and may have some strong, possibly unrealistic, attachments when it comes to matters of the heart. She is portrayed to be scheming to take over Yanchi Manor.

Yuan Yu Xuan as Tang Ying Luo
Tang Ying Luo is a kind-hearted, though somewhat timid, young woman. She's a healer, but she lacks confidence in her abilities, often hesitating and showing fear when faced with using her less-than-perfected medical skills.
However, she's not one to back down entirely; with encouragement and at the urging of others, she's willing to try. Ying Luo is deeply devoted in matters of love, a trait that a fortune-teller warns might lead to pain for herself and others. Despite this ominous prediction, she remains steadfast in her affections. She also harbors a quiet jealousy, showing displeasure at Yan Shao's interactions with other women, which hints at her own romantic inclinations.

Zhang Hao Cheng as Shen Zui Tian
Shen Zui Tian is the formidable leader of the Ghost Valley Alliance. He's a chilling presence, known for his ruthlessness, making him a standout "villain" in the series.
However, Shen Zui Tian isn't your typical antagonist. He operates by his own code of conduct, never needlessly taking a life. He also keeps his subordinates in check, striving to be a role model for the members of the Ghost Valley Alliance.
He is the master of a black dog, and shows considerable affection to his pet, even to the point of letting his enemies go. This shows a softer side beneath his otherwise cold and decisive exterior. Driven by his ambition to acquire a treasure key, he initially attempts to join forces with Yan Shao, but their partnership quickly dissolves into conflict. He maintains a complex relationship with the people of Yuchi Manor, oscillating between opposition and collaboration.
