Spoiler Alert
Knowing that Yan Shao's days are numbered, Rong Shu Kuang wants to make every moment count, focusing on joy rather than sorrow. They spend their days on romantic outings, with Yan Shao applying lipstick to appear healthier, hoping to leave Rong Shu Kuang with only beautiful memories. At night, however, Rong Shu Kuang diligently searches through medical texts brought by Tang Ying Luo, desperately seeking a cure for Yan Shao's illness.
Rong Shu Kuang prepares a steak dinner in the kitchen, complete with Feng Ming playing the Chinese flute to create a romantic candlelight ambiance. However, Feng Ming accidentally blows out the candles, leading Yan Shao to send him away so they can enjoy a private dinner. During the meal, Rong Shu Kuang suggests that Yan Shao formally propose.
Taking the hint, Yan Shao prepares a special goose dish in the kitchen, symbolizing a traditional marriage proposal gift. He then delivers the "three matchmakers and six betrothal gifts" to Yu Chi Manor and formally kneels before Rong Shu Kuang, asking for her hand in marriage. Rong Shu Kuang immediately expresses her willingness to marry Yan Shao. Just as they are about to kiss, Shang Guan Tong and Feng Ming interrupt, spoiling the moment. At this time, Lin Qian Yi and others arrive. Rong Shu Kuang and Yan Shao, holding hands, prepare to face whatever comes together, with Yan Shao promising that no one will harm her.
Chu Tian Yao joins in welcoming Lin Qian Yi and Lin Wan Ci, with Bai Gui Ye Ku (The White Wraith's Nocturne) hiding among Lin Qian Yi's servants. Chu Tian Yao privately expresses his support for Lin Qian Yi to become the leader of the martial arts alliance, suggesting they publicly destroy the key to end the conflicts in the martial world. Lin Qian Yi immediately agrees.
Lin Wan Ci keenly observes that Rong Shu Kuang seems content with her upcoming marriage. After inquiring with Tang Ying Luo and Lin Shao Ci about Chu Tian Yao's appearance, she suspects that Rong Shu Kuang couldn't have fallen for Chu Tian Yao so quickly and becomes suspicious of him.
Lin Wan Ci seeks out Rong Shu Kuang, deliberately mentioning how she saved and cared for Yan Shao, emphasizing their mutual support. However, Rong Shu Kuang dismisses Yan Shao as merely her bodyguard, stating that he is different from Chu Tian Yao. She pointedly tells Lin Wan Ci to wait for Yan Shao and continue their "heart-to-heart" relationship.
Rong Shu Kuang seeks out Yan Shao. Since the arrival of Lin Wan Ci and Lin Qian Yi, she has been uneasy, fearing something might happen to disrupt the wedding. She expresses her desire to get married as soon as possible. Yan Shao initially thinks they should wait for all the guests, but seeing Rong Shu Kuang's eagerness, he agrees to hold a ceremony just for the two of them.
Later, Rong Shu Kuang and Yan Shao visit another hot spring valley. Rong Shu Kuang discovers that Yan Shao has a tattoo on his back that matches her own. Yan Shao explains that the tattoo is of a "Ghost Eye Butterfly" and is the key to the mechanism of the Fuxian Treasure, signifying their destiny to protect the treasure together.
Yan Shao hopes to destroy the treasure during their wedding. Although Rong Shu Kuang feels it's a pity, she agrees if it will stop the fighting and ambition. In Rong Shu Kuang's heart, Yan Shao is the most precious treasure. Yan Shao worries about being unable to protect Rong Shu Kuang in the future, but she assures him that she can protect him.
Tang Ying Luo and the others notice the absence of Chu Tian Yao and Rong Shu Kuang and become worried. Lin Wan Ci suggests that the two might be on a date, feeling uneasy as the Six Major Sects are about to arrive.
Rong Shu Kuang dresses in her wedding attire, smiling. Fei Wu expresses disapproval, saying that Yan Shao is dying for Rong Shu Kuang, yet she can still smile. Rong Shu Kuang explains that because Yan Shao has done so much for her happiness, she can't be sad all the time. She wants Yan Shao to be at ease. She also acknowledges the different relationship Yan Shao has with Fei Wu and Feng Ming, and although Fei Wu doesn't like her, she hopes they can get along for Yan Shao's sake. Fei Wu is moved.
Shang Guan Tong agrees to be Rong Shu Kuang's flower girl, scattering petals during the wedding ceremony presided over by Ye Gui Zhou. That night, the two share their wedding chamber, holding hands. Rong Shu Kuang playfully asks if Yan Shao feels lucky to have married such a wonderful wife. Yan Shao sincerely replies that he has been lucky ever since he met Rong Shu Kuang.
Yan Shao intends to draw the pattern on Rong Shu Kuang's back, but he suddenly remembers that they are about to destroy the treasure, making the drawing unnecessary. Rong Shu Kuang then suggests that "a moment on the wedding night is worth a thousand gold," and Yan Shao throws away the paper and pen, chasing after Rong Shu Kuang, and they consummate their marriage.
Lin Wan Ci has been asking Gui Ye Ku to investigate Chu Tian Yao's identity. She suspects that Chu Tian Yao and Rong Shu Kuang are not a blind match and that Chu Tian Yao is actually Yan Shao. However, she doesn't voice her suspicions and asks Gui Ye Ku to continue investigating.
