Spoiler Alert
The next day, Rong Shu Kuang insists on painting Yan Shao's portrait. Yan Shao suspects it's a morbid gesture, similar to what she did with Jin Bu Yao, keeping a picture of him after he's gone. Rong Shu Kuang, not amused, says she wants to record every moment they share.
Ye Gui Zhou informs Yan Shao and Lin Shao Ci that Rong Shu Kuang and Chu Tian Yao are already married. Rong Shu Kuang had declared that marriage is a private affair, but they plan a grander ceremony when the Six Major Sects gather. This news disappoints Lin Shao Ci.
Rong Shu Kuang spends the entire day painting Yan Shao, producing a childish drawing. But before Yan Shao can feign enough praise, she reveals another painting – a depiction of their time in the desert. This image, she says, has always been in her heart, and she only made Yan Shao pose as a playful distraction. Moved, Yan Shao embraces her.
Rong Shu Kuang seeks out Lin Qian Yi in Chu Tian Yao's room and confesses their marriage, even removing her mask in front of him. Yan Shao, revealing himself as Su Shi Yu's disciple, promises to care for Rong Shu Kuang. He plans to destroy the key during the martial arts competition, a plan Lin Qian Yi supports.
Lin Shao Ci accidentally recognizes a servant as Bai Gui Ye Ku from Wu Qing House. He follows him to Lin Wan Ci's room and exposes his identity. Lin Wan Ci claims ignorance of Bai Gui Ye Ku's past but admits she hired him to experience the outside world. She approaches Bai Gui Ye Ku, pretending to advise him to leave, but he whispers that "they" plan to destroy the key. Lin Shao Ci, unwilling to press Lin Wan Ci further, leaves.
Jiang Ru Hai and others arrive at Mount Mogya. Tang Chan Yi secretly colludes with Jiang Ru Hai, poisoning Jiang Cheng. Jiang Ru Hai promises an antidote upon success.
Lin Wan Ci visits Shen Zui Tian, revealing Rong Shu Kuang and Chu Tian Yao's plan to destroy the key and proposing a change in strategy. Shen Zui Tian, unafraid of Chu Tian Yao, believes his only support is Yan Shao, who is now poisoned and therefore negligible.
That night, Lin Wan Ci enters Rong Shu Kuang's room, donning her wedding dress. She accuses Rong Shu Kuang of always having the best of everything. While Rong Shu Kuang was making a name for herself, Lin Wan Ci was stuck at home. She claims to have genuine feelings for Yan Shao but can't win his heart, as he's poisoned by the Red Lotus Heart and devoted to Rong Shu Kuang. Rong Shu Kuang retorts that even without her, Yan Shao wouldn't love Lin Wan Ci, nor would he disrupt the martial world for treasure. Lin Wan Ci counters that while Yan Shao wouldn't, Rong Shu Kuang would open the treasure for him. Rong Shu Kuang declares herself Chu Tian Yao's wife, severing ties with Yan Shao, and throws Lin Wan Ci out. Back in her room, Lin Wan Ci smiles smugly, taking out the drawing of the tattoo on Rong Shu Kuang's back and burning it.
The next day, the Six Major Sects gather. Shang Guan Tong steps forward, claiming to be the sole member of the Junshan Sect, stating that one person can represent a sect, and reveals the truth. The Ghost Valley Alliance secretly poisoned his master, causing him to go mad, and he warns that the Junshan Sect was slaughtered by the Ghost Valley Alliance. If they don't learn, the Junshan Sect's fate will be theirs.
Jiang Ru Hai publicly claims he joined the Ghost Valley Alliance under orders, feigning cooperation. Jiang Cheng corroborates his story. Tang Chan Yi steps up to compete for the leadership, only to find everyone supporting her. Jiang Ru Hai proposes opening the Fuxian treasure, but Yan Shao publicly calls for destroying the key to end the conflict. Tang Chan Yi supports this, recognizing it as the root of the discord, disappointing Jiang Ru Hai.
Tang Chan Yi publicly cripples Jiang Ru Hai, fulfilling Rong Shu Kuang's statement that he wouldn't rest while his legs were intact. Tang Chan Yi distributes antidotes to everyone, leaving Jiang Ru Hai bewildered. Before the meeting, Chu Tian Yao had met with Tang Chan Yi, who, understanding the principle of mutual dependence and weary of fighting, agreed to help Chu Tian Yao in exchange for certain conditions, which Chu Tian Yao accepted.
