Episode Summary
Liu Ziyi is suspended after defending a colleague from a patient's harassment, facing a false accusation and the hospital's prioritizing of avoiding a lawsuit. Qin Wenbin finds the missing patient, Gao Nanxing, with the help of his mother. Gu Shiyi gives her persistent suitor, Zhang Yu, a challenging seven-day test, while also supporting the suspended Liu Ziyi.

This episode kicks off with some serious workplace drama. Liu Ziyi finds herself in hot water after an incident with a patient, Zhang Chengpeng. He's claiming she assaulted him, but it's all a lie – he was actually making unwanted advances toward Liu Ziyi's colleague, Liu Bei, and Liu Ziyi stepped in to defend her.
The hospital, however, is more concerned with the potential lawsuit. Even though Liu Ziyi testifies on Liu Bei's behalf, the security footage is inconclusive. Zhang Chengpeng twists the story, accusing Liu Ziyi of pushing him, and the vulnerable Liu Bei is too intimidated to speak up. The hospital's solution? Suspend Liu Ziyi and demand a written report, effectively throwing one of their top surgeons under the bus.
Liu Ziyi is furious, and rightfully so. She delivers a sarcastic "I'm wrong" note to the Vice President, who's already having a terrible day dealing with the disappearance of another doctor, Gao Nanxing (for whom Qin Wenbin is responsible). Liu Ziyi expresses her disappointment in the hospital's lack of support, highlighting the unfairness of the situation.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating Gao Nanxing's disappearance. Qin Wenbin overhears Nanxing's mother mentioning his recent interest in travel vlogs. He contacts his own mother, suspecting a connection, but she's evasive.
On a side plot, Gu Shiyi's persistent suitor, Zhang Yu, tries to win her over by shadowing her at the hospital. Gu Shiyi, clearly not interested, gives him an almost impossible challenge: keep up with her grueling schedule for seven days. Later, Gu Shiyi rushes to comfort Liu Ziyi, bringing takeout and moral support. They share a fun, lighthearted evening, providing a much-needed break from the hospital drama.
The episode takes a turn when Qin Wenbin discovers Gao Nanxing's location through his mother's video. It turns out Qin Wenbin's mother has been chatting with Nanxing online and they've met up. Qin Wenbin races to the campsite, finding them both asleep. He brings Nanxing back to the hospital, where Nanxing's mother confronts him, but the teenager is unwilling to engage.
Back to the love quadrangle, Zhang Yu begins his "seven-day challenge" with Gu Shiyi, starting with breakfast and a ride to work. However, he has to contend with Jiang Yu, who's also clearly interested in Gu Shiyi. Despite Zhang Yu's confidence, Gu Shiyi remains unimpressed, merely giving him a chance to prove himself.
