Pan Yue and Qin Wenbin have a heart-to-heart, where Pan Yue expresses her gratitude for Qin Wenbin's treatment of Frank. Meanwhile, Wang Gaosheng, desperate to appease his wife Su Qing, seeks Qin Wenbin's help in choosing a handbag. Qin Wenbin advises that the thought matters more than the style, leading Wang Gaosheng to pick an expensive bag. Short on cash until payday, Wang Gaosheng subtly asks for Qin Wenbin's help, who readily transfers the money. Wang Gaosheng then surprises Su Qing with the bag, and with Qin Wenbin's backing, she accepts the extravagant gift, allowing Wang Gaosheng back into the marital bed.
Liu Ziyi is engrossed in Huang Tianming's case, so much so that she misses meals with Qin Wenbin and the others. Huang Tianming refuses surgery, placing the burden on Liu Ziyi to convince him. Qin Wenbin, fresh off a successful surgery on Gao Nanxing, is celebrated with a lion dance orchestrated by Nanxing's mother, earning him the moniker "Jianghai's Miracle Doctor." Mortified, Qin Wenbin asks Gao Nanxing to call off the spectacle, gifting him a Doraemon t-shirt. Gao Nanxing reveals that his mother had photoshopped Qin Wenbin with an actress, explaining Pan Yue's earlier comment about his "new relationship."
Later, during a group dinner, the club members tease Qin Wenbin about the photoshopped image. Qin Wenbin spots Huang Tianming enjoying barbecue and beer at a nearby establishment. He alerts Liu Ziyi, reminding her of the reprimand he received for a previous patient's escapade. Liu Ziyi approaches Huang Tianming, who, well-versed in his condition, expresses his desire to enjoy life before it's too late. He then shockingly asks Liu Ziyi how much money she wants, leaving her stunned.
