Episode Summary
Liu Ziyi's father goes missing, causing her and Qin Wenbin to search for him. Jiang Yu's sister asks him to move in with her, but he refuses. Wang Gaosheng faces financial troubles and a bribery accusation. Xiao Jing leaves the hospital with her baby, and Wu Dachuan is told to stay away. A comatose patient arrives, creating financial and ethical dilemmas for Liu Ziyi. Gu Shiyi explains to Jiang Yu why she won't date coworkers.

Episode 19 of "Good Will Society" kicks off with Liu Ziyi in a panic. She can't reach her father, and after wrapping things up at the hospital, she and Qin Wenbin rush to his house to check on him. The house is empty, fueling Ziyi's anxiety. Wenbin tries to calm her down, but the worry is etched on her face. Just as they're about to call the police, Ziyi's father returns with Aunt Jiang. It turns out they'd gone to a newly opened hot springs resort, and it's now way past 2:00 AM. Seeing that the elderly couple is fine, although it is very late, Wenbin says he is going to leave. Ziyi's dad clarifies that Aunt Jiang had just returned to retrieve something she'd left behind. Relieved, Ziyi also decides to leave with Wenbin, understanding his intention not to disturb them. Wenbin knows Ziyi was particularly worried because her father had mentioned going to a location where a major pile-up accident had occurred.
Meanwhile, Jiang Yu and Gu Shiyi are chatting about Ziyi on their way home from work. Shiyi remarks that she's never seen Ziyi so distraught.
Back at his place, Jiang Yu finds a pair of high heels and discovers his Third Sister asleep in his room. The next morning, she asks him to move in with her. She explains that she's living alone in a big house and feels scared. She also mentions some recent heart discomfort, suggesting that having company would ease her worries. Jiang Yu flatly refuses. His sister can't understand why he insists on living in such a small place. When someone calls him from outside to go to work, she suspects he might have a secret reason for staying put, hinting at a possible romance.
The episode then shifts to Wang Gaosheng, who's facing serious financial difficulties. He learns about online loans from his apprentice and is about to try one when Wenbin comes in to inquire about his situation. Gaosheng quickly shuts down his computer, acting suspiciously. Wenbin notices something's off but doesn't get a straight answer when he presses for details. Later, Gaosheng is called in by the department head. It turns out a patient's family insisted on changing surgeons and had secretly slipped money into Gaosheng's desk drawer. Doctor Zheng saw it but didn't tell Gaosheng. Gaosheng is furious and feels wrongly accused, as he would never have accepted the money. He returns the money to the family, emphasizing that his dedication to operating on the patient wasn't about financial gain. He respects their choice but also wants them to respect him.
In another storyline, Xiao Jing is ready to be discharged with her baby. Her parents will help her raise the child. Wu Dachuan comes to see the baby, but Xiao Jing tells him to say his goodbyes and not to bother them again. Dachuan wants the child, but Xiao Jing is adamant about not giving him up. With Wenbin and a security guard's help, Xiao Jing and her family leave the hospital safely. Later, Dachuan files a complaint against Wenbin, accusing him of violent behavior, and Wenbin is forced to write a letter of apology.
Ziyi receives a new patient who was transferred from another hospital. The patient, a construction worker injured on the job, has been in a coma for five days. The construction site's management is refusing to pay further medical expenses, and the family is broke. Despite the patient being unconscious, Ziyi decides to proceed with treatment.
Finally, Jiang Yu is still curious about why Shiyi won't date coworkers. Shiyi admits she knows about his feelings but explains that dating a colleague is awkward. If things go south, one of them would have to leave the hospital, which she sees as a losing situation. She's already thinking about a potential breakup before the relationship even starts, which confuses Jiang Yu. Shiyi believes that matters of the heart are unpredictable, pointing out that even Wenbin got divorced after getting married. She concludes that she's not ready to start a relationship with a coworker.
