Qin Wenbin's jealousy grows as Ding Hao pursues Liu Ziyi, culminating in Ding Hao's public confession at a nightclub. In episode 24 of "Good Will Society," the core group of five friends gathers as Su Qing's birthday approaches. Wang Gaosheng wants to celebrate with a dinner, suggesting Jiang Yu's family's hot pot restaurant. However, both Jiang Yu and Qin Wenbin quickly decline, raising suspicions among the friends. They tease Qin Wenbin, suspecting he's hiding something. Qin Wenbin, eager to prove his innocence (especially to Liu Ziyi), shows his ride-hailing records, demonstrating he never went upstairs during a previous encounter. He pointedly wants Liu Ziyi to see this, but she playfully remarks that he and Jiang Yu's third sister would make a good match, visibly irritating Qin Wenbin.
Meanwhile, Ding Hao is unable to reach Liu Ziyi and resorts to booking an appointment at her clinic just to see her. Ding Hao, who has reached the finals of a prestigious photography competition, asks Liu Ziyi to model for him. His theme is "Angels in White," making Liu Ziyi, a doctor, the perfect fit. With some encouragement from Zuo Feng, Liu Ziyi reluctantly agrees. While waiting for Liu Ziyi, Ding Hao is spotted by Qin Wenbin. Qin Wenbin is clearly jealous seeing Liu Ziyi preparing to leave with Ding Hao, but not wanting to appear defeated, he mentions he has dog food for Xiao Hei (presumably a pet) that he needs to deliver. Since Liu Ziyi can't carry it, they agree to visit Liu Ziyi's father together the next day after work, and he'll bring the dog food then.
Liu Ziyi's photoshoot with Ding Hao goes exceptionally well. Her beauty captivates Ding Hao, and the resulting photos are stunning, pleasing even Liu Ziyi. After the shoot, Ding Hao takes Liu Ziyi to a nightclub, where Gu Shiyi is already partying with Ding Hao's friends. Simultaneously, Qin Wenbin and Wang Gaosheng head to a barbecue restaurant. Qin Wenbin is in low spirits and asks Wang Gaosheng if a divorced man like himself can find love again. Wang Gaosheng, understanding his friend's feelings, suggests he might try pursuing a certain Dr. L from the neurosurgery department, clearly hinting at Liu Ziyi. Qin Wenbin is secretly delighted by the suggestion and ends up paying for the meal.
At the nightclub, Ding Hao openly confesses his feelings for Liu Ziyi in front of his friends. However, Liu Ziyi only sees him as a younger brother. Ding Hao takes the stage, calls out Liu Ziyi's name, and his friend, Xiao Pang, starts a performance. In an attempt to lighten the mood, Xiao Pang falls off the stage and is rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, his injuries aren't life-threatening, only resulting in another bone fracture.
Back at home, Qin Wenbin is still thinking about Liu Ziyi. He calls her again, but the conversation is brief, and Liu Ziyi hangs up quickly. Gao Chen, the distinctive owner of the nightclub, learns about the accident and visits the hospital to cover the expenses, coincidentally meeting Gu Shiyi.
Jiang Yu overhears nurses in the cafeteria gossiping about Gu Shiyi. They criticize Gu Shiyi's revealing outfit from the previous night, fueled by rumors spread by Zhang Yu. Jiang Yu, overhearing this, directly confronts the nurses before receiving a work-related call and rushing off.
Qin Wenbin encounters Ding Hao and Liu Ziyi having a meal together in the cafeteria. He joins them, and his mood sours when he learns that Liu Ziyi and Ding Hao went to the nightclub together the night before.
