Episode Summary
Jiang Yu gets an apartment through luck, not Wang Gaosheng's help. Liu Ziyi confronts a patient, Zhang Chengpeng, for harassing Liu Bei, leading to a complaint and a potential scandal. Qin Wenbin faces professional and personal challenges with a demanding patient, Frank, and his ex-wife, Pan Yue. Wang Gaosheng faces marital problems after an expensive dinner and a misunderstanding with his wife, Su Qing. The episode ends with Zhang Chengpeng's harassment of Liu Bei escalating, resulting in an accidental fall and accusations of assault.

This episode throws a lot at our doctors, both professionally and personally. Jiang Yu's lucky streak continues as he lands a spot in the Talent Apartments. It turns out it wasn't Wang Gaosheng's doing after all – a doctor in Jiang Yu's department got married and gave up their apartment, and Jiang Yu just happened to have an application in at the right time.
Meanwhile, the hospital's resident pushover, Liu Bei, is still being taken advantage of by patient Zhang Chengpeng. He's making her do everything for him, even scratch his back. Liu Ziyi and Zuo Feng witness this and intervene, with Zuo Feng cleverly getting Liu Bei out of the situation. Liu Ziyi, knowing that Liu Bei has been using her own meal card to buy Zhang Chengpeng food, gives Liu Bei her card and warns her about enabling bad behavior. This act of kindness doesn't go unpunished, though. Zhang Chengpeng files a ridiculous complaint against Liu Ziyi, criticizing her for being "serious," "unfeeling," and for not letting the nurses scratch his itches. The department head, knowing Liu Ziyi's personality, calls her in and suggests she learn some people skills from Qin Wenbin.
Speaking of Qin Wenbin, his personal life is a mess. Pan Yue, his ex, had previously contacted him to help a patient – Frank, the foreign art director of her troupe. Frank is very particular and only wants Qin Wenbin to prescribe the medication his private doctor recommended. Qin Wenbin, being a responsible doctor, refuses to prescribe anything without doing his own examination. Frank refuses, and a tense phone call to Pan Yue ensues. Pan Yue arrives at the hospital, and her warm greeting with Frank is witnessed by Qin Wenbin, who is visibly jealous. Pan Yue explains that Frank was a great help to her in France, and she feels obligated to care for him now. Qin Wenbin, however, is still bitter. Pan Yue points out that he has no right to question their relationship, especially since he didn't even try to stop her when she brought up divorce.
The "Marathon Club" (the core group of five friends) finally get together for a meal, courtesy of Jiang Yu. They're becoming closer, and the drinks flow freely. When the bill arrives, everyone scrambles to pay, but Wang Gaosheng ends up being the "lucky" one, getting charged over two thousand yuan. His wife, Su Qing, finds out the next morning and is furious. They're struggling to make ends meet, and their daughter's dance classes cost just over two thousand yuan a month – the same amount Wang Gaosheng spent on one dinner. Later, Su Qing visits the hospital to pick up her mother's test results and witnesses a patient's emotional embrace with Wang Gaosheng. Misinterpreting the situation, she leaves angry. Wang Gaosheng tries to explain, but Su Qing is having none of it, telling him to figure out how to pick up their daughter, Nuannuan, from school.
The episode ends with Zhang Chengpeng escalating his harassment of Liu Bei. He lures her to a stairwell, calls her daughter (who doesn't answer), and then pretends to break down, leaning on Liu Bei and groping her. Liu Ziyi witnesses this and rushes to protect Liu Bei. In the ensuing struggle, Liu Bei pushes Zhang Chengpeng, who falls and starts yelling that the doctor assaulted him. The department head is forced to intervene, setting up a major conflict for the next episode.
