In Episode 10, Shan Chong, aware of Wei Zhi's current project about a "Skiing Prince," goes above and beyond to provide her with inspiration. He connects her with a legendary figure in the skiing world. Wei Zhi is amazed to hear stories about skiers performing incredible feats, like jumping from planes and continuing to ski upon landing. She realizes the intense dedication and, at times, life-risking training that these athletes endure, all driven by their passion for the sport.
Shan Chong's efforts to help Wei Zhi extend even to leveraging his personal connections. However, Wei Zhi is already inspired. She has her male lead—Shan Chong. His presence and every smile bring her joy. She finds immense satisfaction in practicing skiing with her instructor during the day and then working on her comic, a process that fuels her creativity.
A friend of Shan Chong's accidentally shares a sweet photo of him and Wei Zhi in a WeChat group, sparking lively discussions and enthusiastic approval of the "couple." Wei Zhi is embarrassed by the flood of comments.
Later, Wei Zhi receives a message from Jiang Nanfeng, promising a big surprise in five hours. Wei Zhi borrows a car from Shan Chong's room to pick up Jiang Nanfeng. Because Shan Chong's door is open, Wei Zhi happens to see him shirtless after his shower, and notices a long scar on his chest. Startled, she asks about it, but Shan Chong quickly covers it up and remains silent after handing her the keys.
At the airport, Wei Zhi and her best friend, Jiang Nanfeng, share an excited reunion. The surprise deepens when Jiang Yiming, Nanfeng's brother, appears, having traveled all the way from Shanghai. Jiang Nanfeng reveals that without Yiming's help, Wei Zhi would have faced her dreaded mother instead.
Jiang Yiming is clearly infatuated with Wei Zhi, declaring his intention to stay and keep her company during her extended break, promising not to interfere with her creative process. He books a room nearby. Wei Zhi also discusses Jiang Nanfeng's relationship with Lao Yan, learning that while Lao Yan hasn't inquired about her, he seems to be avoiding the topic.
That night, Wei Zhi incorporates the scar she saw on Shan Chong's chest into her comic, adding it to her male lead character. She wonders about the origin of the scar and whether it's connected to his retirement from professional skiing. Meanwhile, Shan Chong's friend discovers a manga artist nearby through a social app, noticing the skiing theme and the character with a chest scar. He realizes it's Wei Zhi's alternate account and shows Shan Chong, who is secretly pleased to learn that Wei Zhi sees him as her muse.
The next day, Jiang Yiming's presence at the training ground disrupts the usual routine. He constantly praises Wei Zhi, showering her with compliments, and even introduces himself to Shan Chong as Wei Zhi's childhood sweetheart, much to her embarrassment. Wei Zhi tolerates his antics, and that evening, she treats everyone to a roasted whole lamb to welcome Jiang Nanfeng.
