Episode Summary
The group goes on a mountain trip. Jiang Yiming is attentive to Wei Zhi, causing Shan Chong to be jealous. Jiang Yiming is revealed to be a dedicated doctor, even on vacation. Wei Zhi and Shan Chong get caught in an avalanche, and after a frantic search, Wei Zhi finds Shan Chong. They find shelter in a forest ranger's cabin as night falls.

With Jiang Nanfeng sidelined by a sprained ankle, Shan Chong seizes the opportunity to suggest a group getaway. Everyone's on board, quickly packing their bags for a trip to the mountains.
The road trip itself is full of playful moments. Jiang Yiming drives, while Jiang Nanfeng and Lao Yan share a car, pointedly ignoring each other, much to the amusement of Jiang Yiming, who observes them from the driver's seat. The destination is breathtaking: a vast, snow-covered mountainscape. The group, thrilled to escape the city and be among friends, poses for photos against the stunning backdrop.
They settle into their lodging, playing games and sharing a meal. Jiang Yiming's attentiveness to Wei Zhi is obvious, as he caters to her dietary needs (no spicy or salty food for her!). While Wei Zhi appreciates his kindness, Shan Chong can't help but feel a pang of jealousy.
Later that evening, Jiang Yiming's roommates are impressed by his dedication. Even on vacation, he's holding video conferences, showcasing his expertise and guiding interns through surgeries. It's clear that despite his youthful exuberance, he's serious about his medical career. When asked about his relationship with Wei Zhi, Jiang Yiming is sincere. He describes her as someone he wants to protect for the rest of his life, revealing that their families approve, even though they haven't officially defined their relationship.
The next morning, Lao Yan and Jiang Nanfeng are up early to catch the sunrise. The sight of the sun slowly illuminating the snowy landscape is exhilarating, especially for Jiang Nanfeng, who's never seen a sunrise in the snow before. Jiang Yiming, however, is worried because Wei Zhi is nowhere to be found. He waits for her, growing increasingly concerned as his calls won't go through. He then hears news of an avalanche on a nearby road, and his worry turns to panic. He speeds off in his car to find her.
The episode takes a dramatic turn as we see Wei Zhi and Shan Chong caught in the avalanche. What started as a beautiful, sunny day quickly turns terrifying as snow and debris come crashing down. Shan Chong pulls Wei Zhi to safety, instructing her to hold onto a tree while he searches for better shelter.
Wei Zhi eventually wakes up to a world of white, unable to find Shan Chong. She desperately searches for him, finally spotting a moving hand in the snow. Overcome with relief, she finds him, but they're disoriented and lost. As night approaches, they stumble upon a forest ranger's cabin, offering them temporary refuge.
