Spoiler Alert

It seems like all the handsome, cool guys have a warm heart beneath a cold exterior. Shan Chong, however, isn't exactly welcoming to beginner Wei Zhi. He's not only aloof but also likes to up the difficulty, often throwing in snide remarks. For instance, he asks Wei Zhi whether talent or hard work is more important. Wei Zhi, after pondering, believes hard work is key. But Shan Chong? He bluntly tells her she does have a talent for skiing... because her slightly chubby physique and extra padding make her more resistant to falls. Ouch! It's probably the most backhanded compliment ever, but Wei Zhi, with her thick skin and resilient spirit, quickly brushes it off.

The real action begins at the training grounds. Shan Chong, with Wei Zhi bundled up in protective gear, wastes no time setting the training goals. Wei Zhi, however, takes one step and ends up face-planting, repeating this process with every attempted stride. It's a series of epic wipeouts, and Wei Zhi quickly decides she needs to minimize this torture time. She secretly calls her bestie, Jiang Nanfeng, to check on her progress. Jiang Nanfeng is practically bursting with joy, gushing about how amazing and attentive her coach is, ensuring she hasn't fallen once. Wei Zhi, hearing this, starts to wonder if her friend is even learning to ski at all!

Later, in the restroom, Wei Zhi's goggles get splashed, and she can't find anything to clean them. A mysterious person wearing a mask offers her a lens cloth. Wei Zhi's eyes widen – she recognizes the person's bracelet, identical to the one worn by the handsome snowboarder in the poster she's been obsessing over. Despite her friend's teasing about her being oblivious, she remembers that bracelet vividly and treasures the lens cloth. Shan Chong, who was the masked person, is utterly confused by her reaction, completely unaware that Wei Zhi hasn't connected him to the ski coach persona.

After a night's rest, Wei Zhi, surprisingly, hasn't given up. She's back at the training grounds the next day, bright and early. Shan Chong, who fully expected her to quit after yesterday's brutal session, is taken aback to see her. He ends up being her personal coach again. Wei Zhi is polite, though still a bit cool towards him, given his previous attitude.

Shan Chong, realizing she hasn't recognized him, shakes his head in amusement, deciding to wait for the moment she finally puts two and two together. Jiang Nanfeng joins Wei Zhi for practice, and during the cable car ride, she inquires about Wei Zhi's coach. It dawns on her that Wei Zhi's coach is none other than Shan Chong, the poster boy Wei Zhi has been crushing on! Intrigued by the unfolding situation, she decides to keep this a secret, though she kindly advises Wei Zhi to get on her coach's good side for better learning.

Meanwhile, Wei Zhi's boss, Mr. Wang, fires her. Hearing about the current skiing craze, he orders his team to quickly wrap up Wei Zhi's original work, "Farewell Song," and shift their focus to skiing-themed content. Despite their reservations, the team members, fearing a similar fate to Wei Zhi's, comply with their boss's demands.
