Spoiler Alert

After dinner, Shan Chong and Wei Zhi take a stroll, enjoying the festive atmosphere. Fireworks light up the night sky, and Wei Zhi, caught up in the excitement, doesn't notice a nearby firecracker about to explode. In a flash, Shan Chong covers her ears, protecting her from the loud bang. Wei Zhi's heart races – her crush just showed his caring side in the most swoon-worthy way!

The unforgettable night comes to an end, and it's time for Wei Zhi to leave. She sadly takes a photo of the cabin they stayed in, glancing wistfully at Shan Shan's house. Suddenly, she hears someone calling her name. It's Shan Shan and Shan Chong! They've come to drive her to the airport. Wei Zhi's face instantly brightens, and she happily grabs her luggage.

After the emotional airport farewell, Shan Chong feels a sense of loss. His sister, Shan Shan, shows him a photo she took of him and Wei Zhi. The chemistry between them is undeniable – they look like the perfect couple! Shan Chong smiles, and Shan Shan catches this unguarded expression, realizing her brother has genuine feelings for the talented Wei Zhi.

Back home, Dai Duo and Shan Chong's coach arrive. Dai Duo and Shan Shan are close friends and old neighbors. The coach tries to persuade Shan Chong to return to competitive snowboarding, but Shan Chong is resistant. His mother is also against the idea, still haunted by the memory of his previous injury – a near-disastrous fall that almost broke his back during a competition. She's fiercely protective of her son and doesn't want him to risk such dangerous maneuvers.

Later, Shan Shan sits by the window, lost in thought. She feels responsible for her brother's injury. He had intensified his training to earn money for her expensive prosthetic limb, pushing himself too hard and ultimately suffering a severe back injury that forced him to retire. Shan Shan is heartbroken that her brother, a naturally gifted snowboarder, had to give up his dream.

Meanwhile, Wei Zhi returns to Shanghai, where Jiang Yiming, Jiang Nanfeng's brother, picks her up from the airport. Yiming, who studied abroad, has always been infatuated with Wei Zhi. He greets her with flowers and gifts, openly expressing his affection, even prompting onlookers to encourage them to get engaged! Wei Zhi, embarrassed, quickly escapes into the car.

Wei Zhi comes from a wealthy family. Her mother is a workaholic, a powerful businesswoman who, in Wei Zhi's memories, was always busy with work, leaving little time for her daughter. Wei Zhi found solace in her beloved manga, which filled the void left by her mother's absence. Perhaps without her mother's financial support, she wouldn't have been able to pursue her passion. As graduation approaches, most students are focused on job hunting, but Wei Zhi continues to draw in the library. She dreams of a career in manga, while her mother wants her to join the family business as an accountant.

During the car ride, Yiming notices Wei Zhi constantly smiling at her phone. He sneaks a peek and sees messages from someone named "Shifu" (Master). He tries to get information from his cousin, but she refuses to reveal anything.
