Cast & Character List

Zhao Bingrui as Zhao Chu Xi
Zhao Chuxi is the son of Zhao Fugui. He's also the adopted son of Li Chengqian. He starts as an orphan from the remote Phoenix Village. His journey takes him from a "country bumpkin" to the savior of the Sanjiang Group corporation.
Zhao Chuxi is a force of nature. He's a "diamond in the rough" character with a fierce, unyielding spirit. In his early days, he's a naive newcomer to the city, clutching his humble wowotou (a type of corn bread). But don't let that fool you. This is a man who's not afraid of a fight – he's described as someone who would "bite a wolf's throat" in a brawl. As he navigates the treacherous world of business, he undergoes a significant transformation. He becomes a shrewd, calculating businessman, with "knives hidden in his eyes." He embodies the saying, "My fists are the rules."

Zhang Xinyu as Li Qingyi
Li Qingyi isn't your typical village beauty. While she might appear to be just the local shopkeeper, running a small convenience store and always bundled up in a padded jacket, there's far more to her than meets the eye. She's the non-biological older sister of the titular character, Zhao Chuxi, and the daughter of Li Chengqian.
Beneath her seemingly ordinary exterior lies a fierce protector, a "female Wu Song" (a reference to a legendary, strong female character from Chinese literature, akin to a "Wonder Woman" figure) capable of taking down a wolf with her bare hands. Episode 15 reveals the source of her incredible strength: she secretly learned martial arts from her adoptive father.
Li Qingyi is deeply devoted to her brother, having secretly shielded him from danger on multiple occasions. She is observant. When she reveals the conspiracies of the Xu family through a letter written in blood, her usually gentle eyes turn ice-cold, showing the intense determination and protective nature that drive her. She's a complex character who balances a warm, approachable demeanor with an underlying strength and unwavering loyalty.

Lu Hong as Xu Shaoqing
Xu Shaoqing is the heir to the Xu family empire, and he's positioned as the primary antagonist to the protagonist, Zhao Chuxi. He is not only Zhao Chuxi's rival but also the stepson of the man who killed Zhao's father, adding a deep layer of personal animosity to their conflict.
Shaoqing embodies ruthless ambition and a disdain for those he deems beneath him. He projects an image of power and control, always impeccably dressed in suits, but beneath the polished exterior lies a cruel and vindictive nature. His catchphrase, "Those at the bottom should kneel," perfectly encapsulates his elitist worldview.
A defining moment of his cruelty occurs when he deliberately runs over Lin Sanwu with his car, showing no remorse. He then throws a check at Zhao Chuxi, asking if 100,000 is enough to cover a "worthless life," highlighting his utter lack of empathy and his belief that money can solve any problem. He represents the corrupting influence of wealth and power.

Feng Li as Su Xiluo
Su Xiluo is a force to be reckoned with. A sharp, sophisticated businesswoman with an MBA from overseas, she was formerly a top executive at Sanjiang Group. Now, she's part of Zhao Chuxi's "money-making alliance," but her motives run far deeper than simple profit.
Su Xiluo is the epitome of a "crazy beautiful" woman on a mission. Her office is plastered with "revenge sticky notes," a visual testament to her laser focus on bringing down the Xu family. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty – or, more accurately, use her stiletto heels to stomp out the competition. While she appears to be keeping Zhao Chuxi as her "boy-toy" driver, she's actually the mastermind behind a complex scheme. One of her most memorable lines, "I'll make you my blade, dare you take the offer?" perfectly captures her ruthless and manipulative nature. She's offering power, but it comes with a dangerous price.

Zhang Chunzhong as Zhang Shengbai
Zhang Shengbai is a ruthless and unscrupulous antagonist in My Name Is Zhao Chuxi. Driven by profit, he serves as a primary henchman for Xu's father and is the mastermind behind the death of Li Chengqian. He is depicted as a cruel character.
His underhanded tactics include forging a will and orchestrating a car accident that results in a fatality. In episode 20, Zhao Chuxi corners him in a cold storage facility. In a moment of terror, Zhang Shengbai reveals a long-standing blood feud between the two families, trembling as he utters, "Your father shouldn't have saved us back then." This line exposes the deep-seated animosity and history driving his actions.

Shi Xiaohong as Li Chengqian
Li Chengqian is a pivotal character, a man of principle and the original founder of the Sanjiang Group. He's described as an "Old Fool" – a term that, in this context, suggests a stubborn adherence to traditional values like integrity and honesty, especially in the face of corruption. He was betrayed and framed by the father of the series' antagonist, a ruthless businessman.
Li Chengqian is also the father of Li Qingyi. After being forced out of his company, he dedicates his life to education in the remote Fenghuang Village, driven by a desire to repay a life debt.
Li Chengqian's influence is profound, even after his death. He leaves behind several crucial legacies:
- A Hidden Truth: A blood-written letter, penned before his death, reveals the truth about the murder of Zhao Chuxi's father, implicating the series' antagonists.
- A Weapon of Revenge: A seemingly insignificant piece of rusty steel, a relic from Li's past, becomes a key tool for Zhao Chuxi in his quest for justice.
- A Philosophy of Redemption: Li's work in Fenghuang Village – planting trees and building roads – deeply impacts Zhao Chuxi, shaping his core belief in achieving success through acts of kindness and social responsibility, rather than ruthless ambition. He is a mentor figure.
- He secretly started a company with his apprentice.
In essence, Li Chengqian represents a moral compass in a world driven by greed and deceit. His actions and legacy set the stage for the central conflicts and themes of the series.

Liu Bo as Han Sanqiang
Han Sanqiang is the fiercely loyal, if somewhat unorthodox, right-hand man to Zhao Chuxi. Operating as a butcher in the local market, he's also known as Zhao's "strategist" – though his strategies might be a bit rough around the edges.
Han Sanqiang is defined by a key, brutal moment: When protecting Zhao Chuxi, he has three fingers chopped off. Instead of despairing, he holds up his mangled hand and laughs, saying it'll make counting money easier. This dark humor and unwavering loyalty showcase his dedication. Later, he becomes a crucial part of the group, using his injury to his advantage by learning to pull a trigger with his remaining fingers. This act of revenge solidifies his role, transforming him into the group's "death-defying vanguard". He's a hardened survivor, ready to do whatever it takes for those he considers his brothers.

Shi Yuanting as Lin Sanwu
Lin Sanwu is a construction worker and the sworn brother of the protagonist, Zhao Chuxi. He's known for his unwavering loyalty and the catchphrase, "Following Brother Chuxi, even death is worth it." An orphan who was beaten and crippled for stealing bread as a child. He becomes the head of security for a large corporation.

Han Yutong as Cheng Zixin
Cheng Zixin is the cousin of Xu Shaoqing and self proclaimed "unlucky best friend" of Zhao Chuxi. She is instantly recognizable, sporting a fur coat and big, wavy hair, and speaks with a distinct, rough-around-the-edges accent. Zixin is bold and unafraid to speak her mind. This is made clear when she publicly confronts Xu Shaoqing, going so far as to throw coffee at him in the street, proclaiming, "My cousin is a dog, and you're even worse than a dog!"
Later, Zixin finds herself falling for Zhao Chuxi. Although he rejects her advances, she takes it in stride, বনে and instead pledges her lifelong friendship, saying with a thump on his shoulder, "Alright, then I'll be your best bro for life!"
