Episode Summary
Zhao Chuxi is barred from a banquet, meets a mysterious man named Xu Lin, and pretends to be drunk to get close to Xiluo. Xiluo sees his scars and later tries to seduce him. Xu Shaoqing, jealous, plots against Chuxi. Chuxi pretends to be Qin Ran's wealthy boyfriend. Qiao Kang, holding a grudge, sets a trap for Chuxi.

In Episode 7, Zhao Chuxi accompanies Xiluo to a banquet. Xu Shaoqing is waiting at the entrance for Xiluo, and while they exchange pleasantries, Shaoqing is visibly displeased to see Chuxi. Shaoqing ends up barring Chuxi from entering the venue, despite Chuxi explaining that he is Mr. Su's personal assistant. Shaoqing insists that assistants are especially not allowed, leaving Chuxi outside.
While sitting alone, Chuxi encounters a mysterious man who claims to have read his file. They hit it off, and Chuxi gets the man's contact information, learning his name is Xu Lin. Later, Xiluo returns with Shaoqing. Chuxi, Lu Yao, and Mr. Su all get in the car, Chuxi comments that the banquet food wasn't filling, and he eats snacks in the car. Xiluo expresses that it seems Chuxi made a new friend, and that the man is very impressive, and that it would be a great help if Chuxi could really connect with him. The trio then heads to Fusheng Barbecue for a meal, where they all have some drinks. Xiluo thanks both Chuxi and Lu Yao. Chuxi openly expresses his admiration for Mr. Su, stating that besides his sister, Mr. Su is the person he admires most.
Chuxi ends up getting drunk again, and Xiluo helps him home. At the entrance of the residential area, the security guard offers to assist, and Xiluo, thinking he is being helpful, hands Chuxi over to go open the door. However, as soon as Xiluo leaves, Chuxi pushes the guard away, claiming the guard is being inconsiderate. It turns out Chuxi wasn't actually drunk; he was just pretending so Xiluo would support him. Chuxi takes a shower at Xiluo's place, and when Xiluo brings him pajamas, she accidentally sees the scars on his back, stirring a sense of concern within her. Later that night, Xiluo wears a revealing dress in an attempt to seduce Chuxi. Chuxi warns her not to play with fire, then retreats to his room. The next day, it's revealed that the security guard has figured out the "crime," and after chatting, the two discover they are from the same hometown and exchange contact information. Meanwhile, Shaoqing's men have spotted Chuxi entering and leaving Xiluo's home, leading him to believe they are living together. Enraged, Shaoqing arranges for someone to "take care of" Chuxi.
Meanwhile, Qin Ran's younger brother keeps asking if she has a boyfriend. Annoyed, Qin Ran lies and says she does. Immediately realizing the trouble she's caused herself, she asks Chuxi to pretend to be her boyfriend and meet her brother. Chuxi readily agrees, even enlisting Er Pang and Sanqiang to create a grand spectacle. Chuxi arrives posing as a big-shot real estate tycoon, drinking with Qin Ran's brother, Xiaoying. Afterward, not wanting to waste the money spent on renting the car, they all go for a joyride.
Qin Ran encounters a troublesome customer at work. Yellow Hair is unable to resolve the situation, and it's only when Chuxi arrives with his friends that the troublemaker is subdued. However, Qiao Kang, the bathhouse's security guard, still holds a grudge against Chuxi for taking his previous position as security captain. He secretly informs the troublemaker that Chuxi will definitely pass through Xiaokang Alley after work, and that his friends have been reassigned, leaving him vulnerable. Unaware of the danger, Chuxi calls Er Pang and Sanqiang to arrange a breakfast meeting.
