Elsewhere, Lin Youjia crashed Ling Yishu’s boozy business dinner, chugging wine to "save" her from sleazy clients. A drunk Yishu ranted about Xiao Mucheng being her "perfect soulmate," but Youjia called BS, insisting she’s just obsessed with the idea of him. To prove his point, he leaned in close… and both their hearts did the cha-cha. Later, Yishu drunkenly mauled his face with a kiss in his car. Morning-after regrets? Oh yeah. She woke up to find him shirtless in her apartment… and her face covered in doodles. Iconic.
Daddy Issues & Rule-Breaking
The next day, Xiao Mucheng’s dad (CEO Quanhai) rolled into town, demanding his son marry Yishu, his "chosen daughter-in-law." Mucheng dropped the bomb: "I’m in love with someone else."
