With Love with You: Episode 11

Spoiler Alert

Episode 11 of With Love with You starts off with a groggy Wang Lingjun being roused by her roommate—her dad, Wang Kaiming, called to let her know he sent her some stuff... to Wang Yan’s place. Turns out, after Lingjun had a bit too much fun the night before, it was Wang Yan who brought her home safely. Thoughtfully, she even left a basin by the bed just in case Lingjun got sick during the night. Sweet, right?

TL;DR: Lingjun's starting fresh, Wang Yan's playing her cards close, Fanyu’s still chasing shadows of the past, and the family dynamics are quietly pulling at your heartstrings. Episode 11 is all about subtle shifts—professionally, emotionally, and everything in between.

What’s funny is that the roommate still doesn’t know Wang Yan is actually Lingjun’s older sister—she just assumes they’re friends and even added Wang Yan on WeChat. Meanwhile, big day for Lingjun: she officially gets her caregiver certificate and is now a registered nursing assistant. She’s glowing with pride after the oath ceremony. A fresh start feels good.

Elsewhere, Liao Fanyu is given a subtle nudge at work—promotion might be on the horizon, and now's the time to network. His colleague Jia Changan brings up Wang Yan’s name, but Fanyu, for reasons known only to him, doesn't mention they’ve already broken up. Instead, he plays it cool and even agrees to help Jia’s niece find a media internship. Smooth.

Fanyu tries texting Wang Yan but gets no reply, so he goes to see Lingjun, hoping to get some updates on her sister. Before putting her in an awkward spot, though, he backtracks and drops the request. At least someone’s learning boundaries.

In the corporate game, Fang Li drops a bomb: Gao Qian and Li Fei have landed the Linyue account. Wang Yan immediately goes to see Gao Qian about locking in the Yuanzhou project, but he warns her to keep one eye on Fang Li’s latest move—he’s planning to bring in a batch of interns, and maybe even a new biz dev manager. Translation: someone might be trying to edge Gao Qian out. But after the recent scandal at Miaosi, it's doubtful Fang Li can find a replacement that quickly.

Later, Wang Yan finally responds to Fanyu—with a very businesslike call. She agrees to help look for a media internship... and then hangs up just as fast. Message received: we’re keeping this strictly professional.

Meanwhile, Lingjun is having dinner with Cao Kunkun, who’s being all sunshine and rainbows about life and her boyfriend Wei Dasheng. Lingjun knows it’s not the full story, but decides not to push. Back at home, Wang Yan clears out the fridge and throws out everything Fanyu had left behind. Symbolic much?

Fang Li pulls Li Fei off the Yuanzhou account for now, waiting for Wang Yan’s next move. She and Gao Qian arrange a brief, vague meeting with Ye Zhen at the Park Hyatt. The meeting raises more questions than it answers—like, why is Ye Zhen staying there instead of her usual hotel?

Lingjun tries hustling to find clients herself, only to get undercut by more experienced caregivers. Her roommate suggests trying a care center instead, which might be her next move.

The episode ends on a tender note. The package from their dad finally arrives, and Wang Yan calls Lingjun to pick it up—curt and efficient, as always. On the bus ride home, Lingjun gets another call from her dad, full of warmth and encouragement. For once, she feels like her family is truly behind her—her dad, her sister, all rooting for her to stay in Shenzhen and find what she loves.

What she doesn’t know? Wang Yan, the cool, stoic older sister, once deeply envied her—envied the ease with which Lingjun could talk to their dad like a friend. Wang Yan never had that. And that unspoken longing lingers quietly in the background.
