Spoiler Alert
Episode 15 of With Love with You serves up a cocktail of betrayal, buried emotions, and beer—lots of beer. The drama between Wang Lingjun, Wang Yan, and everyone caught in their emotional crossfire hits a boiling point, with secrets spilling faster than the drinks being poured.
Dine, Wine, and... Interrogation?
Wang Lingjun invites Wang Yan out for dinner, but it’s clear from the moment she slams back a full pint of beer that this isn’t just a friendly meal. She doesn’t know seafood, so she lets Wang Yan order while she handles the drinks—and by “handles,” we mean tries to get Wang Yan drunk with some classic reverse psychology.
But Wang Yan’s not biting. She sees right through it.
So Lingjun switches tactics. Just as she’s trying to dig deeper, Gao Qian calls. Without missing a beat, Lingjun grabs the phone—and boom. Confirmation. Wang Yan did spend the night at a guy’s place. The moment is icy. Lingjun, now fired up, doesn’t hold back. She throws out accusations of cheating on Liao Fanmu and lying to her face.
Wang Yan, finally pushed too far, retaliates with a beer shower—right to Lingjun’s face. Lingjun tries to return the favor, but Wang Yan ducks. Score one for reflexes.
Cold Shoulders and Car Rides
The sisters finish their meal in mutual silence, then wait for the bus—standing as far apart as humanly possible. Enter Cao Kunkun, who arrives to pick up Lingjun. But she refuses to leave. Why? She's waiting to see who comes for Wang Yan.
Speak of the devil—Gao Qian pulls up. Wang Yan gets in without a word. No looking back.
Instead of going home, she asks Gao Qian to take her to the beach. Meanwhile, Lingjun vents at Kunkun’s place, drinking and spiraling. She knows she shouldn’t care about Wang Yan and Liao Fanmu's drama... but she’s furious about being lied to.
Cao Kunkun tries to shrug it off, but Lingjun turns the heat on her too—accusing her of lying as well.
Secrets, Tears, and Running in the Wind
Caught off guard, Kunkun breaks down. She confesses that she overheard Kunkun arguing with Wei Dasheng during the New Year. What she didn’t understand was why Kunkun was staying in a miserable relationship. Kunkun finally opens up: She has a stable job and home in Shenzhen, and sends money back to her family. It’s the only way her traditional, son-obsessed family respects her. She never told Lingjun because, honestly, Lingjun couldn’t help—only worry.
Feeling like a joke in her friend’s eyes, Kunkun storms out, tears in her eyes. Lingjun, full of guilt, runs after her. They end up holding hands, running down the windy street, dodging traffic police—because that’s how healing happens in this show.
️ Fainting Spells and Medical Bills
Meanwhile, Gao Qian drops Wang Yan off at her apartment. She’s barely conscious but manages to drag herself upstairs. The moment she opens her door, she stumbles, dizzy, and collapses onto the sofa. Flashbacks and dread swirl in her head before she passes out for the night.
Next morning, Lingjun barges in to feed the cat—and wakes Wang Yan up with her nonstop chatter. Wang Yan, still out of it, tries to get water but collapses again, hard.
The Diagnosis No One Wants
Lingjun rushes her to the hospital. Blood tests reveal iron overload—likely because Wang Yan stopped taking her iron-removing meds. They’ll need more tests to know what's really going on. Liao Fanmu takes time off to care for her, but tells Lingjun to go about her day like normal.
Later, Wang Yan wakes up and refuses further tests. She begs Liao Fanmu not to tell Lingjun anything and heads home.
We learn the truth: her bone marrow transplant years ago was successful, and relapse is rare—but not impossible. She knows it. And yet, she's lying to everyone, again. Why? Because her illness nearly destroyed her family once. She won’t let them suffer through it again.
Final Thoughts
This episode is heavy on emotional baggage and raw honesty. The fractures in the sisterhood between Wang Lingjun and Wang Yan are deepening, but at the same time, so are the revelations. Lingjun’s tough love approach might be misguided, but her heart’s in the right place. Meanwhile, Wang Yan’s quiet suffering and self-imposed isolation are painful to watch.
Episode 15 doesn’t just deepen the plot—it hits where it hurts. Hard.
Next Episode: Will Wang Yan’s health spiral out of control? Can Lingjun and Kunkun rebuild trust? And how long can Wang Yan keep up the lies before everything falls apart?
