Things get worse when Li Xibei — Li Heibao’s very pregnant daughter — shows up and publicly accuses Le Shuishan of chasing her dad and trying to get him to sell their school-district apartment. Feeling bad about dragging Shen Zhuoran into her drama, Le Shuishan apologizes. She explains how she and Li Heibao met: He used to be a professional canoeist and now works out by Xuanwu Lake, where Le Shuishan’s qipao team often performs.
