Episode Summary
Li Heibao confronts Tang Jialin, leading to threats against Le Shuishan. Shen Zhuoran protects her, and she moves into his house temporarily. Meanwhile, family tensions rise as Sun Baoqin gossips and Shen Duole's career aspirations cause conflict. Ice Li faces professional trouble for supporting Rui Zhifeng. Shen Zhuoran and Li Heibao force Tang Jialin to apologize for his past actions. Le Shuishan proposes being buried with Shen Zhuoran, causing disagreement among his family.

Things are heating up! This episode is packed with confrontations, family drama, and a whole lot of awkwardness.
It all kicks off with Li Heibao spotting Tang Jialin – the very same Tang Jialin who made Le Shuishan's life a living hell – at a kayaking event at Xuanwu Lake. Let's just say Li Heibao takes matters into his own hands and gives Tang Jialin a piece of his mind. Of course, Tang Jialin, being the classy guy he is, retaliates by threatening Le Shuishan. Shen Zhuoran steps in like a knight in shining armor, but just to be safe, they decide to move Liang Shanshan into the Shen household for a bit, since Shen Dai is conveniently away in Shanghai. Li Heibao even brings Le Shuishan's dog home to keep her company.
Liu Lina and Shen Qing are total sweethearts and get Shen Dai's room all ready for Le Shuishan, complete with fresh linens. Shen Qing even removes her mother Jingmin's portrait to avoid any awkwardness. Le Shuishan notices the missing portrait and appreciates the gesture. Shen Dai even sends a message saying that Le Shuishan can stay for a few days.
Meanwhile, Liu Debao's trying to chop some fish in the kitchen, and Sun Baoqin is being all sneaky, trying to snoop through his phone. Naturally, she gets caught red-handed. The next morning, Shen Zhuoran makes a huge breakfast, but before Le Shuishan can even dig in, Li Heibao shows up with the dog, who apparently refuses to eat anywhere else. Shen Zhuoran is not thrilled and gives the security guard Xiao Sun a call to complain.
Sun Baoqin, always stirring the pot, sees Le Shuishan and Li Heibao feeding the dog together and rushes to tell Liu Lina. Liu Lina explains that Li Heibao is just an ex, and that Shen Qing even took down Jingmin's portrait for Le Shuishan. Sun Baoqin is outraged and starts trash-talking Le Shuishan, but Shen Qing isn't having it and heads off to work.
Shen Zhuoran's busy digging through old files from 1988, while Li Heibao has tracked down Tang Jialin's office. They're on a mission!
Over at Rui Zhifeng, Ice Li is pushing for a deal with Shi De Group, but Lu is throwing up roadblocks. Ice Li pulls a fast one and gets the money transferred at the last minute, which doesn't sit well with the big boss, Qiao. The other shareholders start questioning her motives, bringing up her connection to Shen Qing. Ice Li gets fed up and threatens to quit, but Qiao puts her on suspension instead, since she just authorized that big investment.
Shen Zhuoran and Li Heibao confront Tang Jialin, armed with Zhang Yali's medical records. Turns out, Tang Jialin deliberately sent the heart patient Zhang Yali to the Gobi Desert, which led to his death. They demand a public apology to Le Shuishan, or they'll report him. Tang Jialin caves and apologizes. Le Shuishan, finally getting justice for Zhang Yali and her unborn child, decides to drop the lawsuit.
Shen Duole tries to play peacemaker between Liu Lina and Shen Qing by inviting them to dinner, but things go south when Shen Duole announces he wants to study directing. Liu Lina is completely against it, while Shen Qing is supportive. They have a huge argument, and Shen Qing storms out.
Shen Zhuoran takes Le Shuishan to visit Zhang Yali's grave. Le Shuishan gets all sentimental and suggests they be buried together someday, near her parents. Shen Zhuoran is totally caught off guard and seeks advice from Gou Bingqiang, who reminds him that he's supposed to be buried with Jingmin.
Shen Dai, Liu Lina, and Shen Qing are all against the idea of Shen Zhuoran being buried with Le Shuishan. Jingmin's burial plot is a double, so he's obligated to be buried with her. Shen Duole tries to convince them to be more understanding. Sun Baoqin, of course, has an opinion and warns Liu Lina about getting scammed by Liu Dong when buying a burial plot for Liu Debao. Le Shuishan brings up the burial issue again, and Shen Zhuoran shuts it down, leaving her disappointed.
