Episode Summary
Wu Chen discovers she's Feng Lixue and grapples with revenge against Mo Xiao, who reveals his own identity. The Tianxing Secret Vault opens as Tongming Island collapses. Backstories are revealed, and the search for missing disciples begins.

"Destiny and Saving" Episode 14: A Bloody Reunion & Collapsing Islands!
Okay, things are getting intense. Episode 14 is a rollercoaster of revelations, betrayals, and enough angst to fill a drama convention.
The episode kicks off with Hao Tian rushing to Lu Shixiong's aid after receiving a desperate plea. Lu Shixiong is majorly stressed about Mo Xiao, the young sect leader, who's gone off on his own to Tongming Island. Apparently, the other sects are convinced Mo Xiao's trying to hog some secret vault for himself. Lu Shixiong also throws some shade, revealing his doubts about Mo Xiao's leadership. Hao Tian already heard from Yu Yao that Mo Xiao became the leader right after coming out of seclusion, but didn't know he's so unreliable.
Meanwhile, Poyun and the Phoenix Mask gal find themselves in the same secret passage. Phoenix Mask is still salty about Poyun always protecting Wu Chen. Poyun, ever the diplomat, says he doesn't want to see either of them get hurt.
Speaking of Wu Chen, she's spiraling with anxiety. She fears she might actually be Feng Lixue. Remember Xie Lingyun's prophecy about Mo Xiao being her destined one? Wu Chen now thinks "destined" might mean "sworn enemy." She can't handle the thought of her and Mo Xiao being locked in a hate-fueled showdown. Mo Xiao just wants Wu Chen to stay the innocent girl he knows. Cue the tears! Wu Chen knows she's close to the truth. Suddenly, a giant rock falls, separating them! Talk about dramatic timing.
Phoenix Mask and Poyun beat Wu Chen to the entrance of the Tianxing Secret Vault. Wu Chen arrives and sees the lock is shaped like a Phoenix Order. Poyun realizes only Feng Lixue's blood can open it. Phoenix Mask is hesitant, but Wu Chen steps up and uses her own blood, much to Poyun's shock and excitement - he's found his "miss". Phoenix Mask and Wu Chen enter the vault together, where Wu Chen realizes Phoenix Mask is just a fragment of her own consciousness. Phoenix Mask removes her mask, revealing a face identical to Wu Chen's, complete with an evil grin.
Flashback time! Chong Guang freed Phoenix Mask from a mirror and placed her on Xue'er's body, even removing her mask. Phoenix Mask declares she's waited ten years to take off that mask, and now she's going to kill Wu Chen. They fight, but Wu Chen wins and absorbs Phoenix Mask's consciousness back into herself. Phoenix Mask reverts to Xue'er's appearance, leaving Wu Chen stunned.
Back in the present, Chong Guang feels a sharp pain, sensing Wu Chen's feelings for Mo Xiao. He decides it's time to take back what they want.
Wu Chen wakes up from a ten-year "dream" and realizes it was all real. She remembers what happened on the mountain and calls out for Mo Xiao. He bursts in and reveals he's Feng Lixue. He tells Wu Chen that Phoenix Mask and Wu Chen's consciousness are now one, and it's time to settle their score.
Mo Xiao claims he spent ten years in seclusion to figure out the truth. He insists both Wu Chen and Phoenix Mask are just pawns in someone else's game. He begs Wu Chen not to be consumed by hate or manipulated. Wu Chen, torn between conflicting desires, stabs Mo Xiao with the Phoenix Feather Chain. One voice tells her to stop, the other screams for vengeance. Seeing Mo Xiao in pain breaks Feng Lixue's heart. Mo Xiao reaches out, wanting to take her away from all this, but Wu Chen stabs him again. He hopes his death will end the cycle of hatred.
Wu Chen is devastated, remembering their past and how Mo Xiao cared for her. She breaks down, screaming in anguish.
Poyun rushes in, concerned for Feng Lixue, but Chong Guang appears and knocks him out. Feng Lixue doesn't understand why she's still in pain after getting her revenge. Chong Guang comforts her, and she falls asleep. He then wakes Mo Xiao up and wipes a dark energy across his face, putting him back to sleep. Chong Guang heads into the vault and grabs the spirit stone.
Another flashback reveals Chong Guang saved Feng Lixue's life ten years ago by dripping his blood into her mouth. He then saved a snow fox about to freeze to death, and made it Xue'er, Feng Lixue's only companion.
The Tianxing Secret Vault suddenly opens, but as everyone tries to investigate, Tongming Island starts to crumble! People are falling into the water left and right. Xie Lingyun, barely conscious, is still worried about Murong Jing.
Xie Lingyun returns to Shushan, but remains unconscious. Murong Jing and the others are missing. Murong Jing's brother, Murong Ce, is furious that Xie Lingyun is the only survivor. Murong Changfeng believes they might still be alive if no news has been received. Yuan Beichen blames Feng Lixue for everything, believing it's all a setup. Murong Changfeng thinks finding Feng Lixue is the key to finding Murong Jing. Murong Feng volunteers to search for Feng Lixue, but Yuan Beichen assigns the task to Murong Ce, telling him to prioritize finding their disciples and to avoid Feng Lixue if possible.
Before Murong Ce leaves, Murong Changfeng tells him that Mo Xiao's fate is uncertain. Even if he survives, the Tongming Island incident has ruined his future. He suggests Murong Ce should consider vying for the sect leader position. However, Murong Ce is only focused on finding his sister.
