Feng Lixue acts suspicious, hiding her feelings for Mo Xiao. Mo Xiao finds his mind-controlled protectors in Valley of Desire. Jixing Luo reveals Chong Guang's plot to Feng Lixue, who retrieves the Spirit Stone. Mo Xiao confronts Feng Lixue, warning her she's being used. Zi Ying reveals Chong Guang's true goals to Feng Lixue. Mo Xiao discovers the Love Desire Poison and its effects. Feng Lixue tells Mo Xiao about Chong Guang's identity. Murong Changfeng arrives with the Shushan disciples. Xuyuan Yunchao takes the blame for Feng Lixue and is sent to Demon Prison.

"Destiny and Saving" Episode 16: Recap & Spoilers
So, Poyun's been noticing that Feng Lixue's been acting all kinds of shady since she woke up. But Feng Lixue's playing it cool, denying anything's wrong. Even though she's totally crushing on Mo Xiao in her head, she's all, "Nah, I got my revenge, I'm good." Liar, liar, pants on fire!
Meanwhile, over at the Valley of Desire (Ai Yu Gu), Mo Xiao runs into his old Grand Protectors. The catch? They don't remember him! They're all just rambling about whatever's most important to them. Murong Jing sees Xie Lingyun and just clings to her, probably seeing Xie Lingyun as her most important person. They're obviously under some kind of spell, but Xie Lingyun is enjoying the attention.
Jixing Luo confronts Feng Lixue, spilling the tea about Chong Guang's evil plan. Apparently, Chong Guang knew all along that the Spirit Stone was hidden in the Secret Vault. He only took Feng Lixue in to steal it and stash it in his secret room. Feng Lixue sneaks in and grabs the stone, but almost gets caught. Luckily, Xuyuan Yunchao, who's got some sweet water magic skills, saves her bacon. Feng Lixue's grateful, but she's not exactly warm and fuzzy about it. She basically tells him he shouldn't have risked his neck for her, but if he ever needs help, he can hit her up.
Later, Feng Lixue finds Mo Xiao in the Valley of Desire. Cue the waterworks! She's all upset that he's there, but Mo Xiao confesses he came looking for her. He warns her that she's being used. He wants to know who's pulling the strings, but Feng Lixue says she'll figure it out herself. And if she finds out Mo Xiao's been lying to her? He's toast.
Next up, Feng Lixue confronts Chong Guang, asking what he wants her to do next. She also drops the bomb that Mo Xiao's still alive. She grills Chong Guang about whether he really wants her to kill Mo Xiao. Chong Guang backpedals, saying Mo Xiao's still useful, but she can ice him later. Feng Lixue's totally on board. Zi Ying, seeing Feng Lixue getting all the attention, tries to suck up, but Chong Guang shuts her down with a slap. He reminds her that he's the only one who can guide Feng Lixue. Ouch!
Zi Ying, on Chong Guang's orders, delivers Shao Hao Star Master's robes to Feng Lixue. The two have a seriously awkward conversation, and Feng Lixue realizes Zi Ying hates her guts. Zi Ying spills the beans: Feng Lixue's just a pawn. Chong Guang only wants the three Holy Stones so he can get his hands on the Qian Qiu Ling. Then, he'll use the Valley of Desire folks, who will be mind-controlled. Then, Feng Lixue will be useless. Feng Lixue remembers what Mo Xiao told her: Wu Chen and Phoenix Mask were just Chong Guang's pawns, and he's just using her revenge for his own twisted goals. Dun dun duuuun!
Back with Mo Xiao and the gang, they discover that Lu Shixiong's been mind-controlled. They knock out his captors and rescue him, but they realize a lot of people have turned into creepy puppets because of the water.
Toxic flower petals and mist are falling from the sky. Mo Xiao and Xie Lingyun have to cover their faces to investigate. Murong Jing and the others are getting worse, so Xie Lingyun freezes Murong Jing's pressure points, promising to come back for her. Zisu is so obsessed with Mo Xiao that she mistakes Murong Ce for him. Mo Xiao figures out they're infected with Love Desire Poison. In seven days, they'll be sacrificed. Since it's day four, Mo Xiao knows they have to act fast. He gives everyone veils to block the poison.
Mo Xiao thinks the Love Desire Stone is the problem. If they destroy it, they can save everyone. But Feng Lixue says destroying the stone will kill everyone instantly. She tells Mo Xiao that Chong Guang is the Demon Lord. Mo Xiao's shocked that Feng Lixue's master is a demon. Mo Xiao promises to clear everyone's names and says Shushan won't blame Feng Lixue. But Feng Lixue reminds him that tomorrow's her Star Lord inauguration. Whether he can save the Shushan people is up to him.
When Mo Xiao returns, Murong Changfeng and the Shushan crew have arrived. Murong Changfeng says that with one more stone, he can lead 100,000 demons to Mount Buzhou to seize the Qian Qiu Ling. So, the Shushan leader orders them to stop Chong Guang from finding the Demon Stone and to crush his entire plan.
Mo Xiao believes the Love Desire Stone releases poison at night, so he tells Murong Changfeng to take his disciples outside the city to set up camp. Murong Changfeng reluctantly leaves, entrusting Murong Jing to Mo Xiao and his friends.
On the day of Feng Lixue's Shao Hao Star Master inauguration, Chong Guang throws a lavish ceremony. As he's about to slip the Star Lord ring on Feng Lixue's finger, Jixing Luo pipes up, saying Feng Lixue broke the rules by entering the secret room and shouldn't be allowed to take the position. Xuyuan Yunchao steps up and takes the blame. Chong Guang punishes Xuyuan Yunchao by sending him to Demon Prison, but doesn't blame Feng Lixue at all. He realizes Xuyuan Yunchao has the hots for Feng Lixue.
What a cliffhanger! Can Mo Xiao save the day? Is Feng Lixue really going to betray him? And will Xuyuan Yunchao survive Demon Prison? Stay tuned!
