Episode Summary
Yuan Beichen heads to Su Yu Mountain to destroy the Su Yu Cauldron. Mo Xiao attacks Su Yu Mountain, gets kidnapped by Wu Shuang, and is rescued by Feng Lixue. Xie Lingyun and Murong Jing are captured on Su Yu Mountain. Yuan Beichen is stabbed by Ji Xingluo.

So, everyone's freaking out because the only way to fix things involves the Su Yu Cauldron. Problem? It's chilling at Su Yu Mountain, which is basically the bad guy's (Su Yu Ding's) fortress. It's like saying, "To win, you gotta storm the gates of hell!" Yuan Beichen, our fearless hero, decides he's going solo to Su Yu Mountain, because apparently, everyone else is just dead weight.
Meanwhile, Mo Xiao, bless his heart, decides to write a "Hey, I'm off to Su Yu Mountain!" letter to Murong Changfeng. Seriously, dude? Talk about raising the stakes!
Feng Lixue pops by to visit Chong Guang and, while he's napping, tries to snoop around about the demonic energy situation. But Chang Ming interrupts with the news that Mo Xiao is attacking Su Yu Mountain. Chong Guang, ever the strategist, sends Feng Lixue to deal with it. Wu Shuang, overhearing all this, is like, "Time for revenge!" and rushes off to avenge her dead husband.
Feng Lixue finds Mo Xiao and scolds him for being reckless. Then, BAM! Wu Shuang kidnaps Mo Xiao. Chong Guang, surprisingly, doesn't lift a finger. He figures Wu Shuang just wants revenge for Ye Yuan, but she's not strong enough to kill Mo Xiao anyway. Plus, he knows Feng Lixue is loyal to him, so Wu Shuang won't hurt her. Talk about playing chess!
Wu Shuang ties up Mo Xiao, ready to end him. Feng Lixue intervenes, and a fight breaks out. Chong Guang just watches, until he feels a pain in his chest, realizing Feng Lixue is in danger. Xuyuan Yunchao begs his mother, Wu Shuang, to let Feng Lixue go, and Ming Huang reminds Wu Shuang of her years of patience and what she's been working towards with Chong Guang. Wu Shuang, heartbroken over her missing child and murdered husband, snaps. She summons a black dragon to kill Feng Lixue and Mo Xiao. But Feng Lixue freezes the lake and the dragon with her ice powers, then collapses. Mo Xiao, finally free, grabs Feng Lixue and they bail.
Over on the "sneaking around" front, Xie Lingyun pretends to need a bathroom break, but really, he's trying to sneak off to Su Yu Mountain. Murong Jing sees right through him and grabs a jade scarf from Murong Ce that protects against poison. Together, they break through the poisonous barriers and head to Su Yu Mountain.
Mo Xiao tries to escape with Feng Lixue, but Wu Shuang stops them. Chong Guang shows up and takes Feng Lixue away. During the scuffle, Wu Shuang almost falls, but Mo Xiao saves her. Tired of the drama, Mo Xiao peaces out.
At the base of Su Yu Mountain, Xie Lingyun wants Murong Jing to stay put, but she insists on going with him. They climb up, only to be captured by Chang Ming and his crew.
Chang Ming, in a bizarre twist, leads Xie Lingyun and Murong Jing to a bamboo hut in a bamboo forest that turns out to be a trap. He frees Murong Jing, tells them to stay put, and says they'll be fed, but they can't escape the maze. Xie Lingyun is confused why Chang Ming isn't just killing them.
Inside Su Yu Mountain, Yuan Beichen's powers are weakened, but he still intends to take on Chong Guang. Jixing Luo, bitter about being abandoned by Yuan Beichen years ago, tries to stop him. Yuan Beichen shatters her whip and shows zero remorse, claiming he's done nothing wrong.
Yuan Beichen continues on, hearing drums from Su Yu Mountain. Then, Jixing Luo stabs him in the back, and he collapses. Mo Xiao knocks over the Su Yu Cauldron, but Chong Guang doesn't react, acting like nothing happened. He's confident Mo Xiao can't escape Su Yu Mountain. Feng Lixue wakes up and, ignoring Chong Guang's orders, rushes to save Mo Xiao.
Wu Shuang, still thirsty for revenge, is manipulated by Jixing Luo and decides to watch Mo Xiao die.
