Spoiler Alert
Alright, buckle up, drama fans! Here's the lowdown on episode 24 of "Such a Good Love." Things are getting REAL.
So, Zhou Shui hasn't seen Dai Daji since... well, you know. Su Zihao rolls up to Zhou Shui's place with a hard drive – basically, a digital time capsule of their whole relationship. Talk about a blast from the past! Tong Leyi, bless her heart, has been following their saga, but even she's throwing in the towel at work.
Flashback to 2017: Dai Daji's at the Haikou airport, leaving that very same hard drive behind. Years later, full circle, it's back in Zhou Shui's hands. Dai Daji's back in Beijing, packing up their old place, surrounded by memories. Then she stumbles upon their first script draft, and BAM! Inspiration strikes.
Dai Daji takes that script back to Shendu, hoping for a miracle. She's been hitting up film companies for two months with no luck. Shendu is her last shot. She's hardcore about it too – no script changes, she wants to make it her way, no compromises. Xiao Lin wants to help, especially since Zhou Shui's been frantically searching for Dai Daji, thinking he could be the key. But Dai Daji's all, "Nah, I got this."
And she does get it... the movie's happening! Xiao Mao, Xue Cheng, and A Ze are back to lend a hand. They're even filming at their old Beijing apartment in Chunzhi Li. Nostalgia overload! But, of course, there's gotta be drama. Chairman Zhang shows up with a crew of thugs, trying to shut everything down. Dai Daji's not backing down, though. She's literally standing in front of a bulldozer, risking it all to finish her film. She climbs on top of a pile of bricks, daring anyone to stop her. Zhang soaks her with a hose, but she stands her ground. Finally, Zhang caves and gives her one day to film. Dai Daji even gives him a cameo as "Old Chives."
Then things get awkward. Zhang confesses his feelings, but Dai Daji's not about to settle. She wants her own path. Zhang, ever persistent, suggests they start a production company together. If they can't be lovers, maybe they can be partners?
Fast forward to 2025: Dai Daji and Zhang's company is doing well. Tong Leyi sends Zhou Shui a popular novel called "2025 We Really Broke Up." Turns out, Zhou Shui wrote it! Su Zihao tries to convince him to get back in the director's chair, but Zhou Shui's not interested.
Zhou Shui's movie, "The Day Youth Ended," is finished, but Dai Daji's name isn't on the poster. The studio wants Zhou Shui and Dai Daji to walk the red carpet together, all smiles. Zhou Shui can't reach her, though. Then, on New Year's Eve 2017, he sees a post from Dai's mom's friend. He knows he has to go to Ezhou, even if it's a long shot. He drives there, desperate to win her back.
New Year's strikes, and Zhou Shui doesn't make it to Ezhou. He realizes it might be a lost cause, a final goodbye. In 2025, he's spending the holiday with Xiao Juan and her kid. He watches a video of Dai Daji asking if it would all be worth it if they broke up in 2025. That's what inspired him to write the novel.
Heavy stuff, right? Are Zhou Shui and Dai Daji destined to be apart? Will Dai Daji's film be a hit? And what's next for their careers? Stay tuned!
