Plot Synopsis

Basically, we've got this girl, Shen QingTang. When she was just a kid, her whole family was wiped out. Rough start, I know. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on how you look at it), she gets taken in by the ChengPing Marquis family. Specifically,Pei CongZhi, the eldest son, who's about her age. So, she becomes like a foster daughter, basicallyPei CongZhi's kinda-sorta stepsister.

Now, here's where it gets messy. For years, she's treated like dirt in this family. Seriously, they're constantly giving her a hard time. The onlyperson she can even remotely rely on is her "brother,"Pei CongZhi. But get this – he's a total enigma! Like, she can't figure him outat all, and he's kind of a dangerous dude, if you catch my drift.

So, Shen QingTang is basically trapped in thispressure cooker of a household, and it's slowly crushing her soul. That's when she decides, "Enough is enough!" She's gotta break free from thePei family, ditchPei CongZhi, and escape this crazy, dangerous life she's been forced into. Think of it as a historical thriller with a dash of forbidden sibling-esque vibes. Should be a wild ride, right?
