Huo Min is revealed to be working for Li Ge and the Black Eye Alliance's Chinese HQ (SAD). Meng Li is injured and hospitalized. Luo Shanshan's team returns to China to investigate Huo Min and the Shoulong Group.

"Secret Files of XSA" Episode 4: Double Crosses and Coconut Ice Cream Nightmares
This episode kicks things into high gear, revealing some major players and seriously upping the stakes.
Turns out, Xin Chuan Public Welfare is actually the Chinese HQ for the Black Eye Alliance's SAD , where Li Ge brainwashes people to sacrifice everything for their beliefs. The Southeast Asia Democratic Front Alliance is their action squad. Shi Qian admits that the guy who contacted him, Li Guang, only told him to get the stuff on the towel, never imagining it would lead to someone's death.
Luo Shanshan briefs Zhao Jizheng on the progress, and he stresses the importance of protecting Chinese citizens Huo Min and Meng Li. Meanwhile, Meng Li is stuck in a detention cell with two other women who are promised freedom if they can get Meng Li to reveal her boyfriend's location. Huo Min calls the police station looking for Ban Kun, announcing he's turning himself in.
At the station, Huo Min outs Shi Qian as the murderer. It turns out Meng Li is no pushover and handles the two women in her cell. Huo Min reveals that the whole thing was orchestrated by SAD, and Shi Qian confirms he worked with a guy named Li Guang. Ban Kun, in a shocking move, silences Shi Qian right in front of Huo Min and Meng Li, then turns the gun on Huo Min! A struggle ensues, and Ban Kun pulls out a taser, but Meng Li takes the hit for Huo Min and gets knocked out. Just then, the Chinese embassy arrives. Luo Shanshan hands over all the evidence to the embassy, which is now in talks with Yingzhou .
Matt learns that Huo Min is one of Li Ge's people, and with the Chinese and Shapengembassies involved, he decides to cut Ban Kun loose. Meng Li wakes up in the hospital, repeatedly saying "coconut ice cream." The electroshock has affected her brain, and recovery will take time. Zheng Qi assures Huo Min that he's contacted the best lawyer in Yingzhou to get Meng Li the maximum compensation. He also promises to move her to a better hospital once she's stable, reminding Huo Min to treat her well.
Luo Shanshan and her team visit Meng Li in the hospital. The doctor brings over a listening device that was removed from Meng Li's ear. Plugging it into a computer, Luo Shanshan hears a conversation between Meng Li and Ban Kun. She plans to give it to the embassy as evidence against Ban Kun. Matt, eating ice cream, visits Ban Kun, who's been beaten badly. Chen Yunlong, an executive of the Black Eye Alliance, calls Matt, furious about the failure, and says the alliance will reconsider his and Li Ge's positions. Matt, enraged, takes his anger out on Ban Kun.
Luo Shanshan's team heads back to China, and she says they'll investigate Huo Min as soon as they land. Hu Fei thinks it's a bit harsh, considering his girlfriend is in the hospital. Huo Min buys a coconut ice cream but can't bring himself to eat it. In Jincheng , XizhaoProvince, Huo Min packs his things and leaves. Luo Shanshan is watching closely, and Huo Min notices the surveillance in his motorcycle mirror. A kid bumps into him – it's Er Bing , the kid who scratched his pants earlier. Huo Min gives him a toy water gun he bought in Yingzhou and assigns him a mission: to go to the Xin Chuan Public Welfare center square at 3 PM tomorrow, making Er Bing repeat the instructions loudly.
Huo Min arrives at his company to find his desk cleared out. Li Ge is pleased with his performance in Yingzhou and moves him to the second floor. He's still officially in legal affairs, but he gets a card that gives him access to the second floor, the company's core area. Li Ge reveals that they are the Black Eye Alliance's SAD Chinese HQ. The reason they were after Huo Min in Yingzhou was because they were on different sides. This trip to Yingzhou was a test, which he passed.
Li Ge introduces Huo Min to the core members: Lu Wei, Han Yao, and Yang Xiao Yi. She then announces that she plans to give HQ an even bigger "gift" than Jia Tenglongqiin a week. Lu Wei opens a dish in front of Huo Min – Bai Zi , something every new member has to eat. Huo Min eats it without any apparent poisoning. Li Ge leads them in an oath to the alliance, pledging to sacrifice everything for their beliefs.
Zhao Jizheng tells Luo Shanshan that Jiang Shanghonghas become the acting chairman after Jia Tenglongqi's death. He instructs Luo Shanshan to use a convenience store as a base to keep an eye on ShoulongGroup.
