Spoiler Alert
So, Feng Qingming is late again. And this dude is just running his mouth, totally oblivious that Qin Tianyue is standing right behind him. Seriously, his colleagues are trying to shut him up, but no dice. When he finally sees Qin Tianyue, he's mortified, as he should be. Qin Tianyue doesn't waste any time and fines him on the spot. Then, she drops a bomb – new management policies for the matchmaking agency. Cue the chaos!
The Qian Yuanyuan situation is still a mess. Frustrated, she goes full scorched earth and posts online, calling "Yuexia Qiushen" a scam agency that sets people up with romance scammers. Naturally, this blows up big time. Mr. Jiang, a big shot from the "Qianshou" headquarters, jets in from headquarters to Ningzhou and hauls Qin Tianyue into her office for a serious dressing down. Ye Lang and the others are outside, practically chewing their nails off. Mr. Jiang lays into Qin Tianyue, saying the whole thing is a PR disaster with potentially huge financial losses. Both of them could get demoted and fined. She demands Qin Tianyue find the culprit and fire them, no exceptions. After Mr. Jiang leaves, Qin Tianyue announces Xia Wanqing is getting the boot. Xia Wanqing loses it, and Feng Qingming, Ye Lang, and Cheng Xu all jump in to defend her.
Seeing everyone's against firing Xia Wanqing, Qin Tianyue rethinks her strategy. She decides Xia Wanqing will handle the Qian Yuanyuan case personally, and no one else is to contact her. The rest of the team is tasked with digging up dirt on Xu Bin, checking his registration at other matchmaking agencies in the city. Cheng Xu is on IP address and Weibo duty, plus he needs to stalk Xu Bin's mom and see if he has a new girlfriend. They all get to work.
Meanwhile, Qin Tianyue is on a mission to find Qian Yuanyuan. She has a heart-to-heart with her, lays out the situation honestly, and manages to win her over with sincerity. Qin Tianyue decides to upgrade Qian Yuanyuan to VIP status, promising to find her the perfect match.
With solid evidence in hand, Qin Tianyue and Feng Qingming confront Xu Bin. He's still acting like he's untouchable, even flirting with Qin Tianyue with his sleazy words. Qin Tianyue drops the nice act and shows him the evidence, warning him he could get over a decade in prison for fraud. Xu Bin's cocky attitude vanishes instantly. He begs for a settlement and returns Qian Yuanyuan's money. Once Qin Tianyue confirms Qian Yuanyuan has the money, she and Feng Qingming leave and head to the police station with Qian Yuanyuan.
In a crazy twist, Qin Tianyue discovers she's renting Feng Qingming's apartment! When Feng Qingming drops off the keys, he tries to negotiate, complaining that the monthly quota of five matches per person is impossible. Qin Tianyue thinks it over and lowers it to three. She also calls him out for being too focused on loyalty and urges him to get his head in the game and help run the company properly.
New employee Li Lefan arrives from headquarters, and Qin Tianyue puts her in charge of the Qian Yuanyuan case. Xia Wanqing is not happy, but Feng Qingming tells her it's a good thing, since Qian Yuanyuan is a hot potato right now. The old-timers are nervous about Li Lefan, thinking she's Qin Tianyue's new favorite. But Li Lefan has her own reasons for being there: she loves working for Qin Tianyue, and her boyfriend is moving to Ningzhou. And Qin Tianyue? She's so busy she's completely forgotten she has a boyfriend back in Shenzhen! Ouch.
