Destiny agency tries to find a husband for Zhou Ting, but she rejects all candidates. Cheng Xu's database matches her with Qiu Zeyang, who wants a sugar mama. Qin Tianyue argues with her ex and his mother in Shenzhen. Zhou Ting surprisingly starts dating Qiu Zeyang, angering her father.

So, Gu Jianhua is still super keen on finding the perfect husband for his daughter, Zhou Ting. Destiny matchmaking agency is working overtime. Seriously, the office is swarming with guys trying to win her over, mostly because they're after that massive fortune from Ju'an Daily Chemicals. After a ton of screening, they narrow it down to eight dudes.
Ye Lang brings the profiles to the Gu's, and the parents are thrilled with Destiny's efficiency. Zhou Ting, though? Not even a little bit interested. She doesn't even bother looking at the profiles and just tells her dad to pick whoever he wants. Ouch.
The first round of meet-and-greets kicks off. Zhou Ting shows up at Destiny but with a catch: Ye Lang has to be there for every single date so she can give her dad the real scoop.
One by one, the guys come and go, and Zhou Ting rejects them all. Poor Ye Lang keeps hearing, "Next!" After Zhou Ting leaves, Qin Tianyue tries to keep everyone's spirits up and tells them to find a new batch for the next day. But the next day is just as bad. Nobody's good enough for Zhou Ting. The team is starting to realize that 200,000 RMB commission isn't going to be easy money. Qin Tianyue notices that Cheng Xu is a computer whiz, so she asks him to build a database of potential matches. Cheng Xu spends days working on it.
Everyone's hoping Cheng Xu's data matching will save the day. After a lot of number crunching, he actually finds someone who seems like a good fit for Zhou Ting based on personality. But when they see the guy's name, their excitement vanishes. It's Qiu Zeyang, who is known in the Ningzhou matchmaking scene for wanting a woman to support him. He openly admits he's looking for a sugar mama.
The Destiny team is disgusted. There's no way they can introduce this guy to Zhou Ting. They all decide that Cheng Xu's database is useless.
Meanwhile, Qin Tianyue gets a call from her ex, Yang Haoyu, on her way home. He's confused because Qin Tianyue broke up with him, and now she wants to get back together? He doesn't understand what's going on. Qin Tianyue finds out that her parents have gone to Shenzhen and are having dinner with Yang Haoyu's mom. She asks Yang Haoyu for the restaurant address, tells Feng Qingming what to do at work, and rushes off to Shenzhen.
Ye Lang sees Qin Tianyue's trip to Shenzhen as an opportunity. He secretly talks to Feng Qingming and suggests that Zhou Ting meet Qiu Zeyang. He figures they don't have any better options, so why not? Feng Qingming is hesitant, but Ye Lang convinces him.
Qin Tianyue arrives in Shenzhen and overhears their conversation. She barges in and confronts Yang Haoyu, asking what she did wrong that requires an apology. Yang Haoyu says that his family had made all the wedding arrangements, but Qin Tianyue was too picky and broke up with him. Qin Tianyue explains that Yang Haoyu's mom was taking over everything, from the house decor to the wedding dress, without considering her opinion. She also asked when she was going to quit her job and become a housewife. She's not just a trophy wife. Yang Haoyu's mom gets angry and says that Qin Tianyue is almost 40 and no one else would want to marry her. Qin Tianyue's dad gets mad and defends her, then takes her away.
Here's the twist: Zhou Ting and Qiu Zeyang actually hit it off! They walk out of the office holding hands and announce to Ye Lang and the others that they're dating. Everyone's shocked as they leave together. But before they can celebrate, Gu Jianhua storms in, furious. He yells at Ye Lang for introducing Zhou Ting to such a guy and demands his 100,000 RMB deposit back.
What a mess! What will happen next?
