Episode Summary
Lei Lei and Xing Tian's relationship hits a rough patch, leading them to seek new partners through Destiny. Qin Tianyue tries to break up Zhou Ting and Qiu Zeyang to please a client, but Zhou Ting stands her ground. Feng Qingming's personal and professional lives collide when his mother and Qin Tianyue's parents unexpectedly visit.

So, Lei Lei gets home after a long day, right? And she walks in on this total bro-fest happening in her living room. Xing Tian and his childhood buddy, plus the buddy's girlfriend, are just chilling, playing mahjong, and smoking up a storm. Lei Lei, who isn't exactly a social butterfly, just quietly retreats to the bedroom. Turns out, the crew came specifically to see Lei Lei and grab some hot pot, but seeing her reaction, they bail. Xing Tian, however, is not happy and storms into the bedroom to give Lei Lei a piece of his mind.
Meanwhile, Qin Tianyue is digging deep into Zhou Ting's case and realizes that they need to play ball with Gu Jianhua because he's the big money guy. So, she quickly cooks up a plan to break up Zhou Ting and Qiu Zeyang. Feng Qingming and Ye Lang get stuck with the dirty work. They awkwardly approach Qiu Zeyang, claiming Zhou Ting wants to end things and that they're just the messengers. They even offer to set him up with someone new! Talk about cringe.
On the Lei Lei and Xing Tian front, they head to Destiny to find Feng Qingming, wanting to get re-matched because their service isn't up yet. Feng Qingming is super confused since they were all lovey-dovey on social media not long ago. But before he can even ask, Lei Lei and Xing Tian start airing their dirty laundry and bickering like crazy. Feng Qingming can't even get a word in edgewise.
Qiu Zeyang sets up a romantic meeting with Zhou Ting, and then drops the bomb that even if they're breaking up, they need to do it with some class. Zhou Ting is completely blindsided because she never mentioned breaking up. Then she finds out that Destiny's matchmakers were the ones spreading this news, and she immediately knows her dad is behind it all.
To try and smooth things over between Lei Lei and Xing Tian, Feng Qingming brings in Xia Wanqing and sets up their blind dates at Xiao Min's cafe. Lei Lei and Xing Tian are both fuming and start complaining to their dates. When they hear their dates criticizing the things they hate most about each other, they forget about the blind dates and start fighting with each other. Feng Qingming is secretly thrilled because it shows they still care about each other.
Over at the tennis court, Zhou Ting is killing it on the court when Qin Tianyue shows up. Zhou Ting stops playing and tells Qin Tianyue that she's not breaking up with Qiu Zeyang, period. Then, she calls out Qin Tianyue's company for focusing too much on material things like houses and jobs, thinking that's what makes a marriage work. She says they're missing the most important part: the actual feelings! Then she storms off, leaving Qin Tianyue to think about the complexities of love and marriage.
Qin Tianyue is at home when she hears a knock. It's a middle-aged woman claiming to be the landlady. Qin Tianyue is confused because she's met the landlady before, and it wasn't this woman. The woman explains that she's the landlady's mother.
Just then, Feng Qingming rushes in because he knows his mom is a bit of a character. Feng's mom finds out Qin Tianyue is her son's boss and tones it down a bit, but she's still super interested in Qin Tianyue's love life. Feng Qingming apologizes to Qin Tianyue after his mom leaves.
As they're talking, Qin Tianyue's parents show up unexpectedly! Qin Tianyue freaks out and shoves Feng Qingming into the bathroom. Qin's dad is sympathetic to his daughter, mentioning all the crap she went through with Yang Haoyu and his mom, and says he understands her decision to break up. And guess who hears everything? Feng Qingming, hiding in the bathroom!
What a cliffhanger! What will Feng Qingming do with this information? Will Lei Lei and Xing Tian ever get their act together? And will Zhou Ting manage to escape her father's matchmaking schemes? Stay tuned for the next episode!
